Foles, as well as Brady, benefited from the fact that the officials must have been told to allow holding, no matter how blatant. That being said, Foles looked like a starting NFL QB to me.

Eagles caught another break on that 4th down pass as there was an obvious offensive pass interference. They have not called much all night though.

Harrison was tackled by the OT on that pass play.

They will have to get some pressure on the QB and so far he has had all day to throw

I'm shocked that the Pats didn't see that pass to the QB coming. What did they think he was going to do out there, block on the edge?

I didn't see the game, but was told by someone there that Corbin did not share the ball and that Mercer did. Also said that Mercer had improved a lot since the last meeting. Corbin is only as good as they are shooting the ball when they play this way.

UK got lucky the last two games, but got what they deserved today.

I don't understand why the Mizzou player did not get a flagrant as well. The elbow he threw at the beginning should have warranted one as much as the take down.

Why did Vanderbilt get a flagrant? The Missouri player started the whole thing with an elbow to his stomach, which then led to the pull down. Green appeared to be fouled on the shot as well.:idunno:

There have been some very weak foul calls made. UK is not focused at all today though, and I'm not seeing a comeback win today either.

The 1990 incident happened. There were a couple of guys who hung a sign up, believe it was close to KFC on the road that leads to the stadium, that said something that was racially offensive. There is a funny story that I will PM to you about one of the rednecks who did that. The other incident I have no idea about, although I have never seen an incident such as that at any game that I attended. One of the problems is when you get a reputation such as this, people who are bigots feel emboldened to spew their garbage publicly that they may otherwise keep to themselves or at least to their inner circle. The people in the community need to do more to let people with these types of beliefs know that it's not going to be tolerated. We tend to shake our heads and go on hoping no one will notice them, which obviously is not working that well.

The incident that started the all of the racist talk concerning Corbin occurred in approximately 1906. There were no lynchings or murders involved, although all of the black workers who were hired in from out of state to replace striking workers were loaded onto a train and basically run out of town. The guy who made that film back in the late 80's/early 90's took 2-3 high school boys out and supplied them with alcohol and then filmed them saying racist things. I know on the guys on that film and he told me that he thought the whole thing was just some sort of joke and he was just playing along, that is until the film came out. He also filmed a elderly man who claimed to be some sort of historian and got some outrageous comments from him on tape and then he had his short story. I honestly believe that 99% of what is said concerning Corbin is Urban Legend.
