The Future of NCC Football
Hey, They lost the first two games to 6A teams! NC is fine. Good for them for the schedule. Hard work at the beginning and I'm sure I will be watching them in Bowling Green in December.

Highlands/Bryan Station (Predictions)
Remember that game in '08. WOW, tense game. I believe it was the first game of the playoffs and really I wasn't expecting much, (I'm sure the Highlands team knew what they were in for). Down to the last seconds and a Highlands win. Can tell you one thing, there wasn't a drop of alcohol left in our house.:idunno: Right down to the cooking sherry. Everyone came back to the house stressed and wanted it straight up.:jump: Fun night thanks to the last drive by Highlands. :dancingpaI think Bryan Station will be ready. Hoping the birds can gain a nice lead and early. Not sure my home or my wallet can take another night like that!:ylsuper:

The Grey Area of "Cheating"
It could be that their headsets just were not working. Really don't think teams have time to worry about other teams headsets or computer wear when they have to be worried about if their own headsets and computer wear are going to be working. As for University Christian, I can understand a malfunction in their equipment. They just traveled 11 hours to a location they have never played. Could it be that something was forgotten? Another factor to consider for the University Christian game is this was the first game and a lot of new players. There was going to be confusion amongst them. Honestly, think of a Highlands team traveling to another state for the first game, scrimmage , of the year and I'm sure there would be mishaps and what not. Most if not all schools use the Huddle system to watch films on opposing teams. Nothing sneaky there. IPads are common on the sidelines these days. Teams just keeping up with the times. Highlands has it, Campbell Co. has it, and a whole host of if not all schools have it. I don't think there is any cheating going on, just everyone is keeping up with the changing times.

Highlands 50 Campbell County 8
Could give a rats rear end about the jumbo tron or the announcer or anything thing else that doesn't matter with what is going on on the field. Good game by both teams tonight. Campbell Co. has some athletes. Highlands is a tough atmosphere to play in let alone a tough team to play against. Congrats to both and move on to next week. Both teams will take from this game and learn to improve for next week.

Story on Highlands Boosters
I think you were trying to read more into the story. Everyone knows that winning only comes from the play on the field. The article stated that it is harder to raise money when a team is losing. It would be the same at Highlands. I am positive that the amounts raised would be less.

Story on Highlands Boosters
I thought the article was perfectly clear. It showed that there are communities that are willing to go the extra mile to give their team what they need. Some communities it is for basketball, some places it is for baseball, and some communities it is for the cheerleading squad to win a national title. Just happens it is football season and the article was focusing on support for football. It was clear in the article that money does go along way in providing safe equipment and extras for teams. It also states that YES, money does help and can make a difference. Nothing wrong with that. It is great that schools have groups that are willing to support them in any capacity and in anyway they can generate money.

So season passes are good, right? In my book, they are always good unless it is a playoff.

Definately like the H's better than the Bird. However, If they use the Bird, I certainly hope they use the FOOTBALL BIRD and not the generic bird.
