Thanks. I'm not familiar with other programs. Is it common for programs to play a state wide schedule at the grade school through middle school level? From what I've been able to understand FT plays within it's own system with the 7/8 grades also playing teams from the surrounding counties. In the past they strictly played within their own system. Not sure what, if any, effect that has had on development.

How does playing a region schedule affect Highlands? Seems like BG does the same thing. As long as our regional schedule includes good 6A teams like SK, Ryle,X, Cooper, Scott Co and Campbell Co I think they're getting all the prep work they need to succeed in 5A. Had not heard about the drop in the feeder system. How so? No doubt the talent is off but those close to the program assure us that it's a temporary thing and there is some major talent coming up in the pipeline. They seem to know what they're talking about, given their past history so I'll count on them being right again.

I know, no idea why the KHSAA has not updated their yearly records as they restored the wins. I can't remember if it was 2009 or 2010 when they restored them and now include them in win totals.

All Highlands wins were restored several years ago, I believe they went 15-0.

The gauntlet continues. Birds have played well enough at times to make their fans think they could hang around. Other times.....not so much. Not sure what to make of them but I'll keep rooting.

I'm with those who think it's more intent than scoring margin. I've seen 10 point margins where the score was run up and I've seen 60 point margins where it wasn't. The one thing I never want an opponent to do against my team is to lay down if they have a big lead. Play your scrubs but let them play as hard as they can and run your offense. My team will have to learn how to handle it.

I think it was 83-88. I was told once that only 3 classes have finished their careers without a ring since the playoffs started in the late 50's. I would think that has to include their freshman years though and not just years 10-12.

Should be a lot of points scored as both have really good offenses.

This is a game Trinity's competition did not want to see. They were challenged and learned what they needed to strengthen. That is not a good thing for their opponents going forward as this game only made them even stronger.

Thanks. Their last losing season might have been in the 70-71 range as I don't think they had one in the late 70's.

They may have had a losing record in Bernie Barre's first season which was 1975 I believe.
