Thanks for the detailed update. I have not been too worried about the Rocks. Given the injuries and inexperience last year, they actually performed better than I thought they would. I believe this year might be a little different. ?

I have no idea what happened in this game. However I have seen my share of blowouts. Once you have your third string in, what do you do? Tell the kids who rarely get to play to take a knee? Problem is (IMHO) that many of these teams getting blown out like this in the 1st round shouldn't be in the playoffs in the first place. Yes, I know that topic has been debated ad nauseam on BGP. Obviously, there is not an easy solution.

Not sure what to expect from the Rocks this year. Lots of variables. One thing I do know is they surely will be battle tested and ready for the playoffs after the schedule they must play.

I would not disagree with El Diablo. The thing is you better upset the Rocks in the regular season cause it just doesn't happen that much in the playoffs. Outside of Dixie Heights I do not recall any times Trinity lost in the playoffs when they were clearly favored. Especially under Beatty. Before him my memory gets a little fuzzy.

Yes that that is a good article. I did not know the history behind that game. I was there. Dixie was the better team that night.

Does anyone know if Trinity will be at full strength? I do believe the Rocks had multiple starters out for the Male, X , and Ballard games. Not sure about Eastern.

Really wish we could have played the original schedule. I thoroughly enjoy beating out of state teams. This COVID protocol season is a bummer but it is what it is. At least there are games.
