Trinity comes into this game after being in quarantine. Hopefully they will have all players available so this game happens. St. Rita (0-1) comes into this game after losing to Illinois #8 Mt. Carmel 16-9. St. Rita is ranked #9 and these rankings are according to Calpreps.com.

St. Rita has two big time D1 players with Ohio State commit WR Kaleb Brown who is rated the #11 receiver in the nation by 247 sports, and Nebraska commit OT Valen Erickson who is 6' 6" 280 lbs.
 

This is another big time out of state school to roll into Marshall Stadium. Can Trinity get the win?

I'll go with the Shamrocks in this matchup. 

Was told Brown suffered a knee injury and will not be playing in this one. Seriously increases the shamrocks’ chances of winning.

Here are some highlights  from the Mount Carmel game last week for anyone that wants a peak at what the Rocks will face this week.

No surprise that a team from Chicago that was previously ranked #1 in Illinois has some size and athletes. This will be another challenge for Trinity, but this is why they're Trinity.

Yes, that's big loss for St. Rita!

Always excited to see a new team visit St. Matthews. 

As evident against Carmel, the Rocks are capable of scoring. I don't know anything about St. Rita or their last opponent.

But seeing the score makes me want to believe Trinity is, at least, a little better.

Mt. Carmel won this Catholic League slugfest on a blocked field goal return.

These two teams like to rip on each other on the Illinois board.  The classic is “How do you get a St. Rita grad off your porch?” Pay him for the pizza.
