I heard yesterday that Leflors was contacted, but that he "makes too much money already". One of the current coaches seems to be very high on the list with backing from Wolford.

He didn't give me a name. I was asking him about Leflors. Said he didn't know if Leflors applied but that "Bowling Green's coach applied"

I heard from an X coach (not a football coach) that Bowling Green's coach applied.

So you have to be an official to have an opinion on them? I would give that crew a C- at best. I have never officiated a game so I guess my grade doesn't count.

Reggie Bonnafon only started at QB his senior year at Trinity. Tell me he wasn't one of the best players in the state that season.

Beatty said on the postgame radio interview that they came out flat, He stated that the players think that they have failed when they don't beat a team 50-7 in a game they are expected to win big. Said that has to stop and PRP was a very good team. Mentioned that they will be a championship team when they learn how to practice and that has not happened yet.

I guess maybe it depends on the school. Where I come from the term "moral victory" does not exist.

Probably because there are few Male fans on this site and the haters are just waiting for when/if the Rocks lose a game. Then they will come out of the woodwork.

Gutsy performance by the Rocks against a very good and talent laden Brentwood club. Still have much to improve but I like the resolve of this team. It was an impressive victory.:ylsuper:

I was very impressed with the OL. This was a weakness for the Rocks last year and looks to be a strength this year. Blackburn had all day to throw on most pass plays. I agree tcjkbt, it was nice to see those kickoffs going in the endzone. Gentleman sitting by me said Beatty had told him that this team is in the best physical shape vs any other team he has had at Trinity.

Louisville football was first offer for 2

I heard about a month ago that Trinity was getting 2 transfers from New Albany. I saw a CJ article about Stephen Herron a 6'4" 225 DE who already has an offer from U of L that is coming to Trinity this fall as a sophomore. The article said he is coming to Louisville to live with his dad who went to U of L and is a huge Cards fan. I couldn't find out anything about the 2nd New Albany kid until this thread came up. I was also told that the Rocks are getting a kid from Ensworth. Anyone know the scoop on that young man?

It should be Male's year. However, they should also be entering the playoffs as 2-time defending champs. I really like going in as the underdog that most think cannot beat Male. We have few games like that so I enjoy the "chip on the shoulder" mentality the Rocks can employ. Male very well could take it all but I will not count us out. Playoffs are a whole different season to Beatty.
