Trinity travels to Ryle for what should be a great scrimmage. I hope Ryle can give Trinity a good game.

It will be interesting to see if Ryle can run the ball on Trinity.

Start time for this titanic struggle?

Is Ryle's running game supposed to be strong this year?

Is Ryle's running game supposed to be strong this year?

Depends on the line play. They have an excellent running back in Jake Chisholm.

From a CJ article:

JAKE CHISHOLM, RYLE, RUNNING BACK

Chisholm is small at 5 feet 8 inches and 167 pounds, but he puts up big numbers for the Raiders. Last season Chisholm rushed for 1,681 yards and 22 touchdowns on 188 carries and also had 31 receptions for 605 yards and four scores. Coach Mike Engler said his running back is receiving interest from Wofford, Eastern Kentucky and Navy.

I would be pretty surprised if Ryle is able to run the ball on Trinity with any consistency.

Gonna try & make this one, never been to Ryle. Anyone know the format? That last several Trinity preseason scrimmages I've been they've played 3 quarters like an actual game and then in the fourth they've just focused on playing all of the backups, younger players.

And hey Trinity fans in this thread, you guys better pay up or your time here at BGP is coming to an end:

Ryle returns 4 starters on the OL from last season.

Then the Raiders should have a strong run game this year.

Friday night 7:30 pm.

According to Ryle's we site, start time is 7:00

Ryle will have a very strong run game with the experience and size on the line and one of the quickest plant and go backs around. How effective against the returning state champs we will be remains to be seen. It's going to be a great benchmark for us to gauge where we are at. We're happy to be scrimmaging Trinity. It would serve us no justice to beat up on anyone this early. We would rather compete and learn even if we lose.

Will be attending this scrimmage. Looking forward to seeing the stadium and my first burger of the football season..

Chislom is listed 5-9 185 pounds on their roster. Parker Bisek 6'4 295, Jacob Gideon 6'2 269, Ryan Principata 6'0 250 and I think Kevin Weber 5'11 270 pounds are the returning linemen.
