I watched some film on last years squad for Trinity. They do alot of things very well. They also do some things that leave them exposed. Not going to give away anything the coaches may have seen as well but well talk after and see if we were able to exploit some of the things we see.... Note they play hard on both sides of the ball. The Rb's get north and south faster and harder than any team I've seen . They hit the los at full go. The o-line stays engaged very well creating big gaps. The game plan of flooding zones will kill you if you sit back in zone. They are very well coached. Hope we can match the intensity they will come with. While this doesn't count playing the state champs in any format counts!

Just to add some balance, I have a lot of respect for Ryle for stepping up and scrimmaging Trinity.

 

And the more competitive the scrimmage is, the better.

Does anyone else feel like skipping work on game day...... I do.

The Ryle web site says the scrimmage starts at 7 pm. BGP scrimmage schedule says 7:30 pm. While it makes sense that it would start at 7:30 since Trinity is coming all the way from Louisville, I am going to be there before 7 pm so that I don't possibly miss 30 minutes of the scrimmage.

 

Just something to consider for those planning to be there tonight.

Pretty sure it is at 7. Trinity just posted a game day lineup with the start time at 7. I'll be there to post updates.
