What does the season hold for the Freshman Shamrocks? I'm sure they have a great number of kids, as always, but of those that will see the field during the season, who are the standouts and how will the season go?

We'll know something after the game versus Highlands this Saturday. Large contributions by Kyle Hennis are expected. He played on Toy Bowl Championship team and CSAA City Champs in basketball. I understand he is an outstanding baseball player as well.

 

I recognize the name of a grandson (Hayden Roney)of a kicker (Robert Roney) who graduated in 1977. The grandson of Coach Mike Wagner is a member of the team(Nick Wagner). 60 in the team photo at Trinityrocks.com.

QB should be as good as any you will see on the Freshman level. Kam Hendrick is a huge body with surprising speed on the O & D Line. I think we will also hear from Ryan Miller - another kid just like Hennis. Going to make an impact on one side of the ball or the other.

Isn't Todd Grantham's son on the team?

Not sure if we will see Grantham in the Freshman games. True, he is a Freshman at T but he may see more action on the JV or varsity level. Not sure. I know he was dressed and played in the McCracken scrimmage. Hearing nothing but good things.
