The Rocks open the highly anticipated 2020 season ranked #15 in the USA Today Super 25 poll, and the obvious favorites to win back to back 6A state titles. Mighty Moe comes to town and will likely be one of, if not the most talented team Trinity will face this season.  

Moeller had a setback last night, losing to East Central, IN 21-6.

Trinity rolls! Moeller a year or two away from being competitive. Have a good Sophomore class that only lost one game as Frosh las year.

Don’t think this is a Moeller program from 8-10 years ago; Trinity rolls. 35-10. 

The Rocks might simply be too much for Moeller this year. A Mr. Football candidate at QB, a pair of 1,000 yard rushers in the backfield, multiple FBS prospects on the o-line, and a host of FBS guys on defense.

Scary.

Moeller is not the Moeller of old. Moeller only won 2 games last year and are under a new coach this year. East Central out of Indiana was too physical for the Crusaders at the line of scrimmage. EC has a stout defense, but does not have a dynamic offense. Rocks will roll in this one.

If Moeller is one of the most talented teams Trinity plays this season, the Shamrocks are going to have an easy season.

Completely agreed.

East Central is ranked 9th in Indiana by Calpreps and is projected as a 16 point loss to Trinity were they to play - and Moeller lost to East Central by 15.

Calpreps currently has Trinity versus Moeller as a 38-8 win for the Rocks at a neutral site. I suspect that's about correct, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the score end up a little more lopsided in Trinity's favor.

The Trinity defense is the real show this year. The best offense is a great defense. I dont see a close game.

Trinity won this game last year 41-0. Big Moe has a new coach, again. The Rocks are even better than last year.

Going on BGP and  seeing this type of thread about an actual  sporting contest is exciting to me.  Keep 'em coming.

Don’t forget that Moe has already played two actual games. We can’t make silly mistakes. Go Rocks!!!

If Trinity doesn't win this game by a MINIMUM of 5 TD's, something went terribly wrong.

There are a dozen teams in Cincinnati alone that would be a better match for Trinity than Moeller.  They are a shell of what they once were and haven't been relevant in almost a decade.
