  1. Birds cannot turn the ball over and expect to win. This for me is to close to call. Just because Driver may not play does not make this an automatic win. Birds must bring their "A' game to win and pay close attention to subs and must be alert for potential trick plays.
  2. Congrats to Corbin. The offensive line blocking, and the speed and yards after contact were excellent. They controlled the line of scrimmage and thus the game. Highlands had 2 opportunities to score and gave Corbin some additional opportunities via the turnovers. Corbin was the better team and again kudos to them. Good luck Redhounds!
  3. Looks like you should not count the Birds out the next couple of years. congrats Birds!
  4. Congratulations to Cooper. Best of luck next week.
  5. Maiybe now after the way the Bengals came out and rolled in the Damar game, then the playoff game and now this game the Bengals are better than the Bills. All you hear is about the Chiefs and Bills 1 and 2 by the talking heads. Who Dey!
  6. Birds should not look past Raceland. They have a pedigree of success and always play hard.
  7. The Birds should not take anything for granted. I think they read all the running clock comments and thought they would coast. Stay focused, work hard and thoroughly prepare. Don’t listen to the hype. Then go win!
  8. I thought he did too but when I looked closer it was 23 and not 42.
  9. Thanks to the Cooper students and community for demonstrating compassion and support during a difficult time. Congrats on the win and good luck!
  10. Anyone have any stats? Nice win for some momentum heading to the districts.
  11. Highlands up 3 with 3 minutes to go
  12. Birds can not afford to take this game lightly, schedule or no schedule AC is 10 and 0. So they need to show up focused, ready to execute and remember to let their play speak for them. Take nothing for granted. Play smart, play hard. Cannot get caught looking to a potential rematch with the Colonels or they will be watching instead of playing. Go Birds!
  13. Gentlemen, most on this board had this as a toss up game. I did not attend but would say the Birds played well from the score. Congrats Birds but don’t relax you are still the biggest game on everyone’s schedule. I hope the rest of the schedule takes the Birds lightly. Congrats Birds! Raiders go win 6A!
  14. So much for the field house being the reason they won all this championships!
  15. No that was a warning to leave the ball alone after a made basket.
  16. Congrats to the Birds! For those that think this is not a rivalry just ask the kids. Birds need to keep working because the difference in this game was a couple of plays. Can't rest. Stay focused - stay positive and keep working.
  17. Congrats to Cooper, they outplayed the Birds and deserved the win. No excuses. We have some work to do and have faith Coach W will get the team prepared. Good luck to Cooper the rest of the year.
  18. ok no problem. Just curious. Thanks.
  19. Sorry but what the heck is restricted as I saw the umpire give the "you are out of here sign"? Is that a situation where he knows that it is the tournament and could hurt the team and what did he do to get restricted vs. thrown out? Seems like a fine line.
  20. A win is a win! The Birds had to play D and apparently they did. It is part of the game.
  21. How is Caple even playing as I thought he got ejected last night? Congrats Coach Biaoni and the Birds!
