Highlands (3-1) will travel down the AA Highway to visit Raceland (2-1).  Highlands is coming off a big win over Ryle. And, Raceland is coming off an upset victory over Class 1A #1 Pikeville.  Last season, Highland dealt the Rams their only regular season loss 24-14. 
 

Who wins this year’s matchup?

As much as would love to see Raceland pull this one out I think they lose by 10. 

If the Birds play the way they are capable of playing the spread will be more like 20-30.  They have the potential to be an outstanding football team.  They need to play within themselves and stay focused and disciplined.

I can agree with you, I think it depends on which Highlands team shows up so far. They definitely look like they can be really good though because they have. Either way I’ll say they beat Raceland by 20.

Going to be a great atmosphere there. From my understanding is that this Raceland's home opener. Would be worth the drive there to experience that atmosphere and game.

Raceland home games are normally a great atmosphere. I would say it’s worth the drive.

I hope so, I definitely want to see some of the first half.

Why wouldn't Highlands win this one by 3 or 4 touchdowns? If Highlands has designs on a 5A title, this game should not be close.
