What’s WE’s schedule look like for this year?

From South central Kentucky you had teams like Allen County back in 2011 and Glasgow back in 2014. I believe both of those teams were undefeated heading into the state championship games? Metcalfe County also had a dominant season back in 2008 I believe. Had a stud running back. I believe that team made the semi state game. Monroe County also had a couple teams reach the semi state final games but ran into Antonio Andrews and Fort Campbell during their run of dominance.

Dovies is back open! I made the drive down to Tville a couple weeks ago to stock up.

Hate to hear this about Frank. He is a great person and has been such a tremendous asset to Kentucky High School athletics. I wish they could find someone to carry this tradition on to honor him.

I think the Falcons finish at 4-6 with a possibility of 5-5 if they remain healthy. Warren Central, Allen, Metcalfe and Clinton should be for sure wins.

Any word on who the Scotties will be picking up on the schedule if the rumors of them dropping Monroe & Allen are true? I do not blame Arnett at all for dropping the Monroe game. It is 100% a lose lose scenario for Glasgow.

Warren East is a tough job. It would take someone to come in and change the culture of the program, which would take support from administration. From The outside looking in, I question this administrations support. I think they need a proven head coach to turn the program around.

Why so much time between games? I’ve never understood it. Texas Tech, Indiana, Ohio State and Georgia all have been off for a month by the time they finally play again. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

I’m surprised the Herron guy from Glasgow hasn’t been mentioned yet. He seems to have been mentioned for every other job in the state on here lol. Far too young of a guy though for a head job, in my opinion. But, he did appear to do a great job calling the defense for the Scotties this past season.

As always, Alabama got in when they shouldn’t have and got a great draw. Alabama got absolutely dominated in the SEC title game and didn’t move a single spot in the polls. Seriously? The Oklahoma offense is not very good and it’s very hard to beat a team twice. Give me Alabama 24-13.

For all you Pulaski County fans, Coach Travis Burns appears to have joined some of his old coaching buddies on their podcast to talk ball and preview the game Saturday.

Outside of the 6A game, I believe this will be the best game of the weekend. Two elite offenses. Expect a shoutout. I’m going with Owensboro Catholic in a game as close as you can get. 43-42 OCath.

Was it a terrible call? Yes, absolutely. No doubt. But don’t get two extra points blocked and you still more than likely win the game. Corbin still had plenty of opportunities to win this game and did not take advantage.

Yes, this is exactly how it was for us when we played there. A long walk where you would spend most of halftime walking instead of actually able to make adjustments for the game. I refuse to believe they actually locked Belfry out of the locker room. Heck, they gave us a key to the locker room before the game started so we could get in if we wanted, but we chose not to due to the long walk. LCA was nothing but class in my coaching experiences against them. But yes, I do agree that they need to invest in something closer to the field and bigger in size.

The visitors locker room at LCA is a pretty good walk from the field. Are we sure Belfry didn’t just choose to not go? As a former coach who has coached against LCA at their place before, we did not go to the locker room at halftime. Granted, it wasn’t freezing cold when we went, but still. Just thinking of all potential options here.
