Did LCA lock Belfry out of the locker room at halftime?

  • If true, LCA should face some serious consequences.  For example, I would not let them host another home playoff game next year at a minimum.

If you can't provide the visitors with a locker room to use at halftime, you shouldn't be hosting a playoff game.  At the very least the home team should have you stay outside as well.

  • We're going to need a little more than a lengthy, specific, thorough, & direct quote from the head coach.

The same thing happened in 2019 when Somerset played there in the second round of the playoffs.

I agree.

I’m hearing from good sources it’s true.
Belfry players took turns going in restroom to warm hands using hand dryers.  Spent the entire halftime outside in bleachers at adjacent field

No excuse for that

I am very interested in hearing the LCA response.

Our guys sat on those same bleachers in a constant rain last week during halftime.

Especially in the postseason when it’s cold. Not as big of issue in the regular season when it’s warmer but players and coaches should always have access to bathrooms at half. That’s a really bad look by LCA.

I don't know if it is still this way. But in 2019 the visitors dressed in the basement at the gym. It's a long walk, but it should be up to then whether they choose to use it during halftime.

We just figured that they have no place for the opposing team to gather.
