I thought that was last night on Poplar Level? In all seriousness he is the most highly recruited Trinity student I can remember and he's only a junior. Proud of the kid and know he will have success in the future. This might be the most talent-laden Trinity squad I've seen and that is saying a lot, especially considering they are returning a lot next year. They've hit another gear these past few weeks that could leave some scratching their heads about how they are not undefeated. X had some DUDES as well. Busch and Harbin are animals and I'm curious to see where Busch ends up and wish them all the best in their next steps.

From last year in a winter wonderland

As a lifelong diehard Kentucky fan and current Purdue student, these are the strangest emotions I've ever felt going into a sporting event. Can't imagine what this would feel like if they met in March/April which I believe is somewhat likely (almost happened last year). Since I've been at Purdue we are 0-2 in D1 preseason exhibitions, losing at Arkansas in the 23-24 season (before going to the national title game) and losing in Omaha to Creighton last year. I believe the Boilermakers fully deserve their preseason #1 ranking based on experience and returning/added talent. I have seen Braden Smith in person frequently over the last 2 years and he is the real deal. Their biggest struggles last year were rebounding and defense which have been addressed with transfer Oscar Cluff and redshirt freshman 7'4 Daniel Jacobsen who was hurt last year. Kentucky in my mind is likely a top 3-5 team talent wise with a returning NPOY candidate and blockbuster portal additions that add ridiculous levels of length and athleticism, which is what Coach Pope wanted to address the most. This team will play fast, smart basketball and have crazy depth and experience. These could be two of the best teams in the country and potentially a preview of what is to come in Indianapolis this April. This will not feel like an exhibition for either team or their fanbases and Rupp will be rocking. I like Purdue in this one by a possession or two but I truly believe it could go either way.

Big fan of Ballard's baby/powder blue uniforms and hope they bring them out for some good photos. Might be the most entertaining part of this one sadly.

Usually wake up early and start tailgating Purdue football. Depending on when the game is I'll get to watch some Gameday or even the beginning of some games before going out. If Purdue plays early I have the rest of the day postgame to recover and watch football on the couch. If Purdue is away I'll sleep in and sit around and watch 1-8 CFB games at once (thanks YouTube TV) while studying, reading BGP, or rotting away on the couch. If Purdue plays close enough some friends and I will travel. So far this year we've made it to Notre Dame and plan on seeing a game in the Northwestern "Lake Stadium" before they move into their new permanent one. On Purdue's bye week we were able to make it down to the Trinity-St.X game which was a spectacle as always.

Rocks talent has looked far superior in both trips to Cincy and they still have not been able to get it done. Extremely questionable decision making and lack of discipline against teams that they shouldn’t be struggling against as much as they are, which I do NOT think is the kids fault. Personally very disappointed and believe there is a lot being left on the table. Hopefully the staff figures out how to get the most out of this team by the end of the year or there could be the possibility of a major upset down the road

I agree with the sentiment of always getting out and going to support a school when you can. Trust me, I have been to a football game the last 6 straight weekends and driven a total of 10 hours to do so, and I don't see that streak ending anytime soon. That being said, as a student who is outside of Kentucky for most of the year streaming is an absolute necessity for me to keep up with games during college football season.

If I remember correctly, in 2021 Trinity was 0-5 going up to Cincinnati to face the #10 nationally ranked bombers and got their first win. Kellan McLaughlin broke a Trinity record for longest made FG (53 yards?) which I believe he later broke and has since been broken a few more times.

Thinking Coach Cobb and the Shamrocks are looking to really clean some things up after a sloppy game this past week as well as avenging the controversial loss in their last trip to Cincinnati. The bombers usually have some big boys up front and a defense that is hard to score on no matter what year it is or who they are playing. Seems they have struggled thus far against tough GCL South competition and are likely hungry for a win. I predict Trinity by 2-3 scores in a gritty win before they get ready for their district schedule and then the playoffs.

Very sloppy from Trinity and not the statement win I expected, but really glad I made the trip down with some Purdue buddies to introduce them to the culture of KY HS football. The experience of this game is unlike any other and they were impressed. KY does High School Football right!

I have the iPhone 16 Pro, and even I have noticed things lagging, overall slower performance, and quicker battery drainage. Hopefully will be smoothed out soon.

That is a scary thing to hear knowing 3 of them will be returning next year. I'm sure their DL coach and his 2020 squad may have something to say about that statement though!

I understand the reasonings, but still a shame. Some of my fondest childhood memories were going from school straight to tailgate.

Making the trip from West Lafayette for this one. Give me the ROCKS!

Trinity has looked undisciplined in their last two outings, perhaps being something the bulldogs could exploit. On the other hand, Rocks could try to use this as a tune up game before an important week coming up. Trinity has the ability to make this a running clock, and I predict they will.

May not be a popular opinion but I'm taking X by 2-3 scores.

Despite the final score, and the massive third quarter collapse, Trinity looked like the better team for most of the game. They just collapsed more than you can against a team of that caliber.

T left a few points on the board but overall was happy with Zane and especially the defense. Hope they can keep it up and hope Ponatoski is OK.

I must not know the rules …

Also, excited to see what the new uniforms look like in white.
