ROCK23

That must mean Kentucky is absolutely loaded this year!

If Ballard decides to forfeit, is it possible/legal for Trinity to try and find someone else to play?

Does anyone know if there's any chance Trinity will play their 3rd and/or 4th round games at home? Those would be the only games I'd be able to make it to this year.

I believe Zane Johnson is just 2 away from tying Brian Brohm's passing touchdown record.

Tough to say. I would say it's rock bottom in that I doubt it gets worse from here. Let's not forget in Jay Cobb's first season as Trinity head coach he started 0-5, albeit against a better schedule. He wasn't left with much talent after Trinity had just graduated one of its all-time classes and a whopping 1 returning starter. X is in a similar situation after graduating 3 studs from last year. I think when Landis gets his guys and gets settled they will be back to competing at the top of 6A. I hope this is the case as the Trinity-St. Xavier rivalry is a big part of what makes being a student and alumni at either school so special. It also is one of the Crown Jewels of the Kentucky high school football experience. That being said, even with this monstrous class from Trinity graduating I don't see them letting the rest of 6A breathe anywhere in the near future.

Maybe we can do away with the 3A and 6A playoffs this year and get the matchup everyone really wants to see. I don't think that would be a great game either though.

No sound on the YouTube stream but it is on the WDRB+WAVE app. Also on 970 AM as always

In Trinity's last home game against Male, they also streamed the game on YouTube. To me this was far superior to the new app, which I am not a fan of so far. If they do that again I will send the link when it appears.

Heard Trinity DB Sekou Kamara will be back in action this week. One of my favorite guys to watch so I hope he finishes out his senior year healthy.

Holy cow! Not sure I can think of a higher scoring game that I know of.

The 5:00 pm tailgate is a disgrace. We'd go straight from school to the game since I was a child and they are some of my fondest memories. Some people wouldn't even go into the game. It felt larger than life.

Missed listening to the whole first half, but in the postgame Cobb sounded pretty upset with the Rocks' performance. In any case, by my count Zane Johnson needs 5 to tie, 6 to break Brian Brohm's Trinity career passing TD record. Additionally, EBC is at 6 picks on the year, meaning he's 1 away from tying Anthony Wajda for what I believe is the Trinity single season record. By no means am I "stats' but that's what I have from a little side project that I keep tabs on.

Bob Beatty called it the same thing.

Trinity QB Zane Johnson is 9 Touchdown Passes away from tying Brian Brohm's Trinity career record. He has 110 currently with 10 of them coming this season so far.
