This game has potential to one of the national games of the week. State Goliath vs. State Goliath. Games like these are how some Trinity fans measure the season historically beyond the quest for a state title. Some of the great all time Trinity teams have run this brutal gauntlet and carved out their places in history amongst the Shamrock greats. There have been murmurs about the talent of this team stacking up with some of the most loaded Trinity teams of the Beatty-Era, and they have the recognition from colleges to back that up. Don’t mistake their youth for inexperience, many of these young men have played enough varsity snaps to be considered veterans and started in State Title games as freshman. Coach Cobb has proven he can bring Trinity to the top of the state of Kentucky, but can he bring Trinity the unprecedented national recognition and prominence it had under Coach Beatty? On paper the talent is there, and will be for the next few years. Trinity has set itself up to seek out and receive the respect our great Commonwealth deserves. I think Friday night they go out and take it! Give me the Rocks!!!

I believer Trinity has beat the Crusaders 4 times in: 2011, 2017, 2019, and 2020.

I like the idea of the stripes, but the execution with the black down the middle just doesn’t work for me. I get kids like black but the there’s a bit much for what I assume to be the new primary home uniform considering it’s not a school color. There’s black in the stripes on both the jerseys and the pants, black collar, and black trim on the sleeves. We’ll see if they grow on me

As far as I know, the chest has never said “Trinity” it has always been blank or said “Rocks” not a fan of the italic font either, but I’m somewhat of a jersey purist/snob. Wish they’d bring back shamrocks on the shoulder pads instead of numbers

Two of those wins came when I was there. I look at Moeller as a true test of Trinity’s strength as a team that season.

Anyone know the Crusaders all-time record against Trinity? Or other Kentucky schools?

Does anyone know if Fr. Jeremiah Quick (nephew of Trinity legend James Quick) will be dressing/seeing the field at all this year? Freshman used to not play varsity until playoffs but Zane, Sekou, and co. changed that a few years ago. Seems like a load of talent.
