A battle of perennial 6A powers is in store when the Rocks travel over to Preston Highway to take on the Male Bulldogs.

Male is coming off an early BYE week, after having lost to St. X 38-7 the week prior. Trinity got back in the win column last night, defeating Indiana #3 Carmel 41-28.

Can the Bulldogs knock off the #1 team in the state?

  • I'm hoping to roll on to Preston Hwy. and witness a big Shamrock win on the christened turf. I'd like to enjoy a Bulldog burger and a beat down.

  • I would say play it at Trinity and take good care of Male.

  • Another note, it appears Nate Shields is back from his illness and should be a full go. Spearman, Hagan, Burns-Crump and now Shields all appear 100% or close to that in practice pads. Also saw some in

I read that Males field is not finished. If not, I wonder were the game will be played?

Rocks are better than last year, Dawgs not so.  Hope it is not a running clock game.  Male may not have the firepower to score.

Yes, before we do a poll on who wins...

We need to have one on where the game is played?

Word at the THS game last night was that it's still 50-50 if the stadium is finished. Was told by someone around the athletic department that PRP has been floated as a potential site.

Last year's game was an absolute classic. I have a feeling it won't be the same this year. Rocks should get the win by multiple TDs.

In the Jay Cobb era Trinity is 1-4 vs the Bulldogs.

PRP? No chance I agree to that if I’m Trinity.

If Male’s field is not ready my prediction is Southern. I understand Male will not play at Trinity and Trinity does not want to “flip” the schedule leaving Marshall Stadium with three varsity games in 2026.  Male is expected to announce on Monday.

Wherever the game is played, sure hope we at least have the radio broadcast.

'ROCKS- 41

Dawgz- 7

Trinity has looked undisciplined in their last two outings, perhaps being something the bulldogs could exploit. On the other hand, Rocks could try to use this as a tune up game before an important week coming up. Trinity has the ability to make this a running clock, and I predict they will.

Trinity 42-7.
