Still have a hard time believing any Trinity-Male game will be a blowout.

The Dawgs always seem to find a way to keep it close.

Trinity 24, Male 14

I'm hoping to roll on to Preston Hwy. and witness a big Shamrock win on the christened turf. I'd like to enjoy a Bulldog burger and a beat down.

I would say play it at Trinity and take good care of Male.

Another note, it appears Nate Shields is back from his illness and should be a full go. Spearman, Hagan, Burns-Crump and now Shields all appear 100% or close to that in practice pads. Also saw some in

St. X defense shut Male's offense out so Trinity most likely will too. Their defense is stronger side of ball but wears down from the 3 & outs. I think Trinity rolls.

Update: per Male social media post Gates open at 5:30pm tomorrow?

Have a buddy I work with who is a Male supporter

He joked this morning on a call that the "field gets finished at 5, final truck pulls out at 5:15, and the gates open at 5:30."

Can't wait to see it. Always fun when these teams get together!

I can see a scenario where Davidson or Jefferson gets loose for a big gainer but man does this Male team miss Chayce Burton...He was a Driver/Bush/Beaumont type player for them...I'm sure Cortney Jones Jr. has this one circled too (former Rock) and he showed some burst against X...To me, the biggest question I think is on the Male sideline and whether or not Wolfe has checked out and is preparing his resume for Poplar Level Road...

I think this game will be closer than many think. Opening up a new field will provide a lot of energy. They always have a great home team atmosphere. No one wants to lose opening a new home.. Male will not quit in the second half like I feel like they did at St. X.

However, I still believe Trinity should and will get the win by 10 or so.

Fan only here but I went to some early season games where it looked nice from the stands.

    Touchdown Trinity!

    7-0 Rocks.

14-0 Trinity.  About a 45 yard run and no Male defenders within 15 yards of the RB.
