  1. BBs defense is VERY good. I look for them to roll in this one. BB takes it 49-0.
  2. Defensive battle. WV scored on a pick 6. BB had to really nice jump ball catches in the end zone. Could definitely tell it was a first week game, turnovers, penalties, a lot of guys cramping up. Brossart is going to be a solid team, that defense is tough. They did lose #3 to injury - hope he ends up okay. Walton will be okay, they were right there with BB the entire game, just have to get the offense going.
  3. Correction: Honaker and Pence coached together at Newport, not Cooper!
  4. Should be an exciting year for Walton! For those who don’t know, Walton has joined the NKAC and the Northern Kentucky Coaches association for the first time in school history, so we’ll be seeing more NKY matchups with Walton now as well as letting Walton’s players be able to play in all-star games and win post season awards. Also, the schedule sets up some potential mini-rivalries for the schools due to coaching connections. Ludlow: Former Walton HC Jeff Barth is the DC for Ludlow. Walton currently has four coaches on staff that graduated/played/coached for Ludlow (HC: Gary Pence, DC: Chris Wright, AHC/WR: Mark Csolkovits, LB: Dalesean Holbert). Gallatin: New Gallatin HC Rick Honaker was an assistant with Coach Pence on Coopers Freshman team when Pence was the HC. Grant County: Cole Mosier the new HC for Grant was a standout offensive linemen at Walton who went on to play for UK. He also coached under Coach Barth while at Walton.
  5. Bracken has played really well as of late… but I’m sticking with Somerset. I think they win a close one 28-21… but I would not be surprised to see Bracken pull the upset.
  6. I think Cooper wins. Scott County’s offense won’t be able to keep up with Cooper’s offense.
  7. I’ve seen both teams play and I think Beechwood is too much.. I’m going to say Beechwood rolls 49-7.
  8. I’m going to take Ludlow in another close one 35-34.
  9. BB has had a great season but I think NCC is too much. Taking the Breds 35-14.
  10. That catch was insane! Congrats to Newport on the W.
  11. Wow! I did not expect this outcome.
  12. Great game by the Bearcats! I’m very impressed with how this team has changed from week 1 to now. A lot to be excited about in Walton Verona!
  13. The team that plays on the orange carpet vs the team that plays on the red carpet. Give me team Red! Ludlow wins at home!
  14. I’m going to take Walton in a close one!
  15. Fun game to watch! WVs defense made Owen work for every single yard and that led to some frustration. Offensive line for WV had what looked to be one of their best nights! Good job WV!
  16. Congrats to the Walton staff and players on a great game!
  17. Walton had a police escort out of the parking lot it looked like as well.
  18. A Carroll county coach was ejected and either a coach or person fell out of the stands - this all following the unfortunate injury. I did just see on Facebook that the student who was injured was released from the hospital last night and diagnosed with a concussion. Carroll had a lot of personal fouls.. I’m thinking 5-6 all in the second half and it killed them. Throw that on top of the injury and tempers were boiling over.
  19. Congrats to WV on the win! Definitely a wild game!
  20. That definitely helps! What’s the old saying… speed kills!
  21. Was that #4? Didn’t catch him name.
  22. I was a little surprised by this score. I thought Boone would have beat them. Congrats to Scott! Keep winning and moving in the right direction.
  23. That was the fastest Beechwood team I think I’ve ever watched. Congrats to them and good luck the rest of the season. Walton might have had the most brutal starting six games to a season outside of playing Holmes.
