From Newport High School on Facebook:

The Newport Wildcats closed out regular season play by posting a 37-0 victory over the visiting Holy Cross Indians on Friday at Wildcat Stadium.
Newport (7-2) will host the Holy Cross again on Nov. 8 in the first round of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Class 1A playoffs.
"It's a rematch in the playoffs, and when you know you're rematching somebody, you just want to get through the game without injuries," Wildcats head coach Paul Wiggins Jr. said. "This was the last guaranteed game that we'll have. We're week-to-week now and on a pretty good ride - so let's keep the ride going. That's been my message. Nothing's guaranteed at this point."
Kyle Lee tossed three touchdown passes and the Wildcats defense delivered a second straight shutout to fuel the victory.
Adonaje Lowe - who made a spectacular circus catch in the end zone, Kendall Buck-Barber and Kayveion Sharp were recipients of Lee's scoring passes while Rodzion Thompson and Ayden Stachel found the end zone via the ground game.
Jaylen Hartness posted a pair of sacks to spearhead the defensive effort.

I'm going to be picky because I can as a statistician.  In my opinion, the TD by Rodzion Thompson was via a pass because Lee had a tendency to flip the ball forward instead of just handing it off.  I gave Lee 4 TD passes.
