Pulaski runs the football. Woodford stops the run very well. What gives?

Coach Burns has these boys flying around. Pulaski had a pick six that got called back with time expiring in the first half. Then they threw a pick six and fumbled on back to back possessions in the third quarter. Burns and the boys settled in and owned the 4th quarter. The two games I have watched them play (beechwood and tonight) it seems like Pulaski has been able to make the right adjustments defensively at half time. Should be an interesting season for the Maroons!

A lot of talk on social media all week about how Somerset wants to start playing Pulaski and Southwestern again starting next year. They better start worrying about the opponents that are actually on their schedule first.

Oh coach burns can’t be happy with that. A pick six called back as time expires in the first half.

I’m anxious to see what Pulaski looks like in week 3. Are they as good as the fan base seems to think? Are their expectations a little high because of their stellar showing last week against a weaker opponent? I think this week will set the tone for how good Pulaski truly can be this year.

I fully expect Pulaski to be competitive. There has been a lot of talk about Pulaski O Line, and I am ready to see how they hold up tonight. Let the Burns Era begin!

Well this isn’t true.. Carson Fraley hasn’t played a summer ball game. He’s sitting on the bench in a knee brace, and people in the crowd say he won’t be released until September.

What did East, Southwestern, and Pulaski look like? I know South Laurel should be really good this year, just curious how the 12th teams stacked up.

Are you saying you think some Pulaski players will leave?

I’m curious to see DCA and Wayne. Does anyone know what their summer schedules look like? I just think there are too many unknowns surrounding those two programs to pen them in as top 3 at this moment for me. Do they both have the talent? Absolutely.

On paper it seems like a good hire. Not sure what the applicant pool looked like. When is the last time an out of state hire had success in the 12th?

This one has been super quiet.

Any word on applicants? I know Steve Wright was in consideration for the West Job, would he be interested in this job for a year or two?

I think the reason his name has been mentioned so much this time is because all of the job openings are in the north. I think it is well known he doesn’t live in somerset, and makes that drive everyday. He’s from that area. His wife works in the area. So why wouldn’t his name get mentioned? He had competitive teams at Garrard, which is better than anyone else has done there. Just went to the region finals at Somerset, only second time since 1985. So yea, I’d be calling Ryan Young unless you have someone else more proven.

I did not know that about their faculty. I figured they could pay whatever they wanted. It will be interesting to see who gets this job. The right coach will have this team in the top tier in the 12th.

Do they call Ryan Young? I think maybe he was an assistant there at one point. He’s from the area and still lives close I believe. Feel like it would be something that would definitely intrigue him.

Wow! Will Coach Conley be interested in taking over?

Their young group isn’t bad. And they have a 7 footer in the middle. I expect them to be competitive in year one.

I feel like this is a home run hire. A guy who knows how to build a program. Someone who has a won a lot. And a guy that always has his teams playing their best basketball at the right time. Congrats to the Colts and Coach Adams!
