GRC enters this game 2-0. Week 1 was a dominating win over Central Hardin 38-6, and week 2 saw the Cardinals come back in dramatic fashion to knock off Belfry 43-35. It seems like JD Mastin and Sam Clements are leading the way on offense for the Cardinals so far this year. With Joe Chirico you know GRC is going to play tough nosed defense. 

Pulaski enters the game 1-1. Their latest a drubbing of Danville 56-6. Zak Anderson threw for 184 and 4 TDs while Kasen Brock ran for 115 on 8 carries and 2 TDs. Coach Burns has the community of PC buzzing and people are thrilled about the direction of the program right now.

I'll take Pulaski in a close one.  

This is an incredibly intriguing matchup. If the Maroons drop this one, it’s no slight on them.

Who wins this one and why? 

Pulaski has a very diverse offense and a solid defense. The line of scrimmage decides this one. PC hogs dominate!

I’m anxious to see what Pulaski looks like in week 3. Are they as good as the fan base seems to think? Are their expectations a little high because of their stellar showing last week against a weaker opponent? I think this week will set the tone for how good Pulaski truly can be this year.
