Did you get fired from Apollo? LOL! I really like their team and Coach. I agree with you I have heard the admin is not very supportive of football. It's gotta be hard on John and those players. Their only saving grace is him and Max Johnson. I wish them the best, but one game. My Devils lol, but the way we are playing it might be Apollo's first win. Who do we have in the city match-up? Daviess is coming off a loss against the Owensboro Catholic Aces. Reports are telling me DC defense really gave the Aces some problems until 2nd half. Owensboro is coming off a 35-0 thumping from CAL. Being at the game I'm disappointed in our DL play we literally got abused all night. This has to get fixed or we won't stop too many teams this year. I picked Apollo over Murray as well. I think Murray is going to be a team that plays on Thanksgiving weekend in 3-A. If they stay away from CAL they will play for a title. It's a long SEASON and Apollo needs to get their Kick off Coverage team fixed from what I saw. It gave Murray field position all night. If Apollo goes to Heritage Hills and plays with them or beats them I think they will be fine the rest of the year, but they need to show us all that they can do it.

I think our defense can play with CAL. If we can stop them then obviously we will be in the game. However, if we don't stop them then we will get beat and beat pretty bad. If this happens we have a lot of issues that need to be worked out. I do have hope we can get this ship turned the right way. I believe in the coaches.

After our Devils under performed I don't know anymore. I think Apollo can pull off the upset.

I agree I was one who picked them as well. It wasn't as bad as Bowling Green being upset buy Owensboro Catholic. NOBODY but a handful of people picked Catholic over BG.

I really don't know what to think of this one. Us Red Devils fans were sorely disappointed in the teams performance last Friday at St.X. Was I expecting victory, No, but the performance was a little rocky for me. It was like we were not ready or something. However, I do think we bounce back and play better football. I'm going to go 24-21 Owensboro.

Owensboro Catholic takes the trip down New Hartford Rd to take on the Daviess County Panthers. Owensboro Catholic is coming off a upset win over the Bowling Green Purples in what could be the "upset of the year". Daviess County is coming off a huge win over the Russellville Panthers 45-6. Can Daviess County pull off an upset or does Owensboro Catholic go 2-0? Who do you got and what are your thoughts?

I watched this game live and no offense Catholic out played them, but this is not a very good BG team and they lost their best play maker in the 1st series. Congratulations to Owensboro Catholic brought some shine back to Owensboro.

Yes. We are not great, but the first scrimmage game was not like it was last year when we tied. Owensboro Catholic will drop some. Off the face of the earth, NO, but they will be down compared to the last two years.

Why not? You stay away from Belfry and Beechwood. Mayfield and Catholic will be down. Not sure about LCA don't know much about them.

If you think they don’t block well they won’t win. Apollo has a pretty good defense. Their secondary is very experienced and they will hit you. Their DL has 3 starters back. LBs they replace 2 ILBs but return their OLBs. If Murray doesn’t finish blocks that won’t help.

That is crazy. Our schedule here at Owensboro is already tough enough. Now add 4 teams in our district ranked in the top 10.

This game is really flying low on the radar. This could be one of the best matchups in Western Kentucky. Does Murray come home with a win or does Apollo start their season 1-0? Who do you got?

So the Aces won't be an issue? I find it hard to believe. They might not win the scrimmage but to say they are going to get dominated is a stretch.

How did they look against Mayfield? Apollo plays Murray next week and I got to get my picks right. HA HA!!! Any input would be great. Do they run the ball well or throw it well? Apollo's Defense is really good but exceptional in the secondary. On defense, do they zone a lot or do they play a lot of man? Apollo has a ton of big play capabilities in their WR core. If Murray can get to Johnson they can win, but if they don't stop the pass then it's over in my opinion. Just curious what you think Snakesnot..
