When do the RPI Rankings come out. I asked our coach and he said it should come out sometime this week. Does anyone else know exactly when they come out?

Owensboro travels to Graves Co to take on the Eagles. Who you got?

I knew we could win but this game was not as close as the score showed. We play next week at Graves Co. We have to get re-focused. We typically do not play well there.

Why did they play this game on Thursday night?

I will have to ask my son these questions, but the freshman obviously did not.

I'm not saying it was not a great win, but let's be honest with ourselves this Bowling Green team is not the team in 2024 nor is it the team it was in pre-season. This BG team is still trying to find it's identity. I know there's still A LOT of football left, but this BG team could be 0-4.

I just don't see Owensboro Catholic that high. I think they are on the same level as Mayfield and LCA. If Apollo plays either those two teams Apollo loses by 3 TDs. I just don't see them getting past those two in the playoffs.

Owensboro Catholic travels to Rash Stadium to meet the Owensboro Red Devils. Both teams are coming off City/County wins. Owensboro is coming off a 40-0 dominating win over Daviess County. Owensboro Catholic is coming off a 28-21 City/County classic over Apollo. IT'S GAME WEEK!!!!!! Who ya Got?

I think my theory on the Aces first win vs BG was correct. BG over looked them before the St X game. I believe the Aces overlooked a dangerous 0-2team (at the time) in Apollo before their BIG game vs Owensboro this week.

Didn’t go to game. Hearing from both sides of the game. Miles Edge will be a huge problem for OHS. I’m not looking forward to this game at Rash. If we don’t stop the run better he’s going to have a field day . As for Apollo moving forward, build off this. You guys played your best game without Max Johnson and against the best team in Owensboro. I read where JT Edge was playing LB and QB?? I got a lot of respect for that king man.

I’m a little worried about next week. I’m glad we won, but Catholic run game was pretty good tonight. If we don’t stop Miles Edge we will lose. Losing to Catholic 4 years in a row will be an embarrassment to our program. But our defense has to improve

I think we have to wait and see. A little EARLY, HOWEVER, time is a wasting too. As each week slowly ticks away so does his chances. I agree with DevilsMayCare, he has to have dominating performance Friday Night. It's going to rain Friday night so does DC load the box to stop Hampton? I'm ready for the bloodshed to end Friday Night. If we lose we won't be at Catholic and will start out 0-4. Then we have Graves on the road and WE DO NOT PLAY WELL AT GRAVES.

I agree with you. It's probably the Max Johnson effect. I think there's a lot of hype around him and rightfully so. I just don't think they have that 1 player maker like a Niles Board to get them through the close games. I still think this team can place 2nd or 3rd in the district.

He's going to be running for his life. Q Wallace was an asst. Coach last year at Owensboro and he definitely was an asset here. He will bring pressure on us and probably knows us better then anyone. I think we pull this out but it won't be easy.

My kid went to CVMS and played with Max and Eli. I was sending him to OHS anyway but most of those kids went to DC. Apollo maybe gets 2-4 kids a year with them. DC not being as good as they should baffles me. We will find out Friday. If we go out a not play well they can beat us and that won’t be good when we play you guys Subway

I would say the talent is on the UP. The talent was going down when Hawkins left I felt and now it's on the way up. OMS would beat Burns up bad those years. Burns is winning and they are running the Franklin offense John ran at Catholic and John made OCMS run that offense too. I think Burns assistant coach told me Edge finally told Burns Middle School they have to run the offense or we won't have success ever. They have run this for two years and Burns MS has only lost 1 game each season.

To be honest and my son plays at Owensboro. They haven't had a good team since 2005. If they are bringing in coaches like Jeff Carlberg, John Edge and Phil Hawkins who have both coached in state finals at other schools and states, is it the coaching? You have to ask yourself, are they set for success or not?
