This is a good scrimmage for us.

I thought they should of beat us last year. It was that rain game everyone had around week 6 and their long snapper snapped the ball over the punters head twice and we won like 21-7.

Man, that sounds like a tough football team. Being that deep, I don’t think we are that deep at Owensboro. Apollo has a really good OL/DL. They won a linemen challenge not too long ago and they have about 3-4 kids who are 6’5 280+. This is a very talented Apollo team.

I'm very interested in seeing how they do vs. Apollo. Historically, I would pick Murray, but this year I think this match-up is very intriguing.

Got to hear from Apollo fans that they did a great job against Meade County in their scrimmage last Friday night. They are going to be a solid football team and I really think they can make a run in the playoffs, but it's one of those things we have to see it to believe it. I'm not doubting the coaching staff because I think Edge is turning around a program that has been in the dumps for over 15 years. With that being said, I think we just have to sit and wait how this plays out. Again, it's good to hear they are doing well.

Caldwell travels to Owensboro to play a hot Apollo team. The reports from the Eagles Nest were Max Johnson is the real deal. If Max Johnson continues to improve I can see the Eagles competing for the district championship, but that's for another thread. Again, I do not know much about Caldwell. I remember when we scrimmaged Caldwell at Rash several years ago. What are your thoughts in this scrimmage?

Owensboro Catholic drives to Paducah to scrimmage the Tornadoes of Paducah. The Aces seemed to have a really good scrimmage as Dre'Mail Carothers took over as the starting QB for the Aces. What are you thoughts? I do not have ANY INFO on Paducah, but I do know they return a lot from last year. Can a Paducah fan please reply to this thread.

Not sure what to think of this scrimmage. I'm cautiously optomistic, but on the other hand I think we are going to be just fine and will compete against X. One thing we can't do is be silly and shoot ourselves in the foot. With that said, I think we can beat South Warren in the next scrimmage. We need Xavier Conrad and Chadyn Morris back.

WOW! I think the Aces proved they aren't taking a step down like some think. I have told our fans here at Owensboro that they will not be taking a step down. This is an Owensboro Catholic team still loaded with talent. They might be young but they are still loaded.

Our district could go us, Apollo and Madisonville. Who Knows? Apollo could beat us and we be in second place in the district.

Owensboro vs Mayfield OWENSBORO Mayfield travels to Rash in what could be a great match-up. Last year it ended in a 10-10 varsity tie. The highly anticipated debut of Coach Demarcus Ganaway, who took over in February has got a lot of buzz going on in Red Devil Nation. Couple things to look for in Owensboro, 1. How well will Owensboro’s offensive line do in this scrimmage? 2. We will get a great look at new QB Demarcus Ganaway Jr. I think this scrimmage will show everyone what this young man can do. MAYFIELD For the first time in over 15 years Mayfield didn’t make it to the Semi Finals last year. I don’t know much about Mayfield this year so couple questions for Mayfield fans. 1. I don't know man... I more worried about us playing at Graves then Apollo and Madisonville getting Graves at home. Owensboro never plays good at Graves. Do we win. Yes, but we don't play well. Plus it's football and sometimes things don't work out.
