Owensboro Catholic at Paducah Tilghman Predictions/Updates (Scrimmage)

Owensboro Catholic drives to Paducah to scrimmage the Tornadoes of Paducah. The Aces seemed to have a really good scrimmage as Dre'Mail Carothers took over as the starting QB for the Aces.

What are you thoughts?

I do not have ANY INFO on Paducah, but I do know they return a lot from last year. Can a Paducah fan please reply to this thread.

Tilghman lost as much to graduation as just about anyone. A qb who threw for over 4,000 yds and 57 td's, all 5 top receiving leaders and 11 of the top 13 tacklers on defense. 22 seniors in total and o

Looking forward to this tonight. You can't beat football Friday nights, even if it's just a scrimmage.

As most teams in the state can probably testify to, both these teams have plenty to work on. Lots of the usual early season blunders. Both have some pieces to work with as well. I don't know how much

Paducah had a 3-way scrimmage at Hopkinsville last night. They were dominant but not at the same level as they were last year. Still a darn good team who has a legit chance at going back to Lexington.

They beat Hopkinsville 21-0 in two quarters & Clarksville Northeast 35-0 in two quarters.

Paducah is going to be a tough out again this year when all is said and done...with many transfers in and returning players....they will dominate west kentucky and possibly win state...this should be a good scrimage for both...I will probably attend this for scouting purposes.

Tilghman lost as much to graduation as just about anyone. A qb who threw for over 4,000 yds and 57 td's, all 5 top receiving leaders and 11 of the top 13 tacklers on defense. 22 seniors in total and only 5 of them who didn't play in double digits in terms of games played.

However, the guys who have been waiting their turn in the rotation can hold their own and have benefited from practicing against those before them. Add in several transfer players who will play key roles and they should be able to compete, although with a whole new set of pieces.

Looking forward to this tonight. You can't beat football Friday nights, even if it's just a scrimmage.

Should be a great test for the Aces!  Does anyone know if this is being streamed anywhere?

I don’t believe the Aces will be able to get any sort of beneficial work as they’ll get dominated at the LOS this evening, I’m very high on the Blue Tornado again this year.

I’m not sure about Catholic, Carothers is a ball player and they’ll be competitive in 2A no doubt, but opening with Bowling Green is tough, however they’re breaking in a new QB as well so that’s the best time to try and catch them. One could argue that this scrimmage will be PT’s toughest competition on the field until the 3rd week of November, and I’d have a hard time disagreeing with that.

Best of luck to both schools tonight and going forward this Fall!

So the Aces won't be an issue? I find it hard to believe. They might not win the scrimmage but to say they are going to get dominated is a stretch.

Tilghman will give them some good work they are good out wide again OL DL isn't as strong as they were a year ago they got the two tackles from last year back and that's it. This will still be a good scrimmage for both schools overall I think.

@TimeWillTell Catholic is well coached so I wouldn’t call it a complete wash of a day for Tilghman in the aspect of getting better, hell I said I could be convinced this will be their best competition until the 3rd week of November which is a slight to the schedule sure, but the Aces aren’t a bad program. I just don’t see it as being a stretch to say the Catholic will get dominated at the LOS. If you did an average of size of the big guys up front Tilghman would clear by a few inches in height and 30 or more lbs across the board.

Anyone going to this scrimmage tonight will have to enter from the visitors side.

I see what you are saying. Don't under estimate them.

I think it would be a good test for both...no wash in my opinion. If it wasnt soo hot I would go to this one..

Any stream for this??

First time to this stadium and this is a gorgeous facility!!!
