Bardstown comes to Steele Stadium to take on the Aces.

WHO you got?

Bardstown has strung together 2 consecutive dominant performances, with a balanced offensive attack and stingy defense. They could stand to cut back on penalties, but I like their chances to make this a very competetive game. The emergence of the passing game, short, intermediate and deep, has been impressive.

Bardstown sophomore wideout Chi Poynter now has 17 catches for 410 yards and 5 TD’s. He has shown great versatility, Friday night catching a sideline stop pattern, a slant out of the slot, a bubble screen, a medium-range seam, and a deep go pattern. He also demonstrates great RAC ability for a kid with a 6’4” frame.

Any injury reports/updates for this game?

This is a pretty evenly matched game. I'll give the slight advantage to the Aces due to homefield advantage.

Is Bardstown run defense good? We had two really good LB's that could stop their run game. 

I'll go with O Cath since they've played tougher schedule.

Not much to make out of Bardstown scheduling so far…give me the ACES big at home.

I am interested in this game.  Owensboro humbled the Aces who have had a great first 3 game start to the season.  I think the Aces could come out angry for some vengeance at home.

I think OC wins by a couple touchdowns but it’s just been hard to read Bardstown. Really the only quality team they played was Etown and it was really competitive and I just don’t think Etown is close to being OC caliber. Hopefully it will surprise us all and be a great game.

Bardstown’s TD was a pick-6. Doesn’t sound like the Tigers have done much offensively.

OC had a 85 yd pick six called back for penalty.
