Did Brossart retire from teaching and coaching when he left DH Football or did he continue in different role?

What seems to be the recurring problems for this team? Job has been open a few times over years lately.

Update: hearing there are possibly 8-9 applicants. From whom gathered from here is following. Biggest name hearing from multiple people around the area Justin Franklin, the former Carroll Co. coach from 19-21'. Hearing the former Head Middle School Coach Randy McGraw has applied. Couple Assistant in the area going after it, either coached there or competed against at one point. Possibly 2 Internal Staff Members going after it. Can anyone confirm the same rumors, or someone have better source(s) than my own?

Brown is stepping away for his own personal reasons per some of the parents. Hearing there are several former Head Coaches in the area going after the job. Also heard a couple assistants on staff as well. Has anyone heard any big names?

Sources have confirmed, Coach Brown has stepped down. Job is posted. North Oldham was last open in 2021 Offseason.

Wouldn’t this hire hurt or propel Franklin Co. as far as recruiting in district kids? Think there is a clear separation and status won’t change?

I agree. Having 2 programs on the rise with Frankfort hiring Coach Atchley last year and Franklin Co. Coach Eddie James producing big D1 athletes, it will be tough competition. Does the district allow in-district transfers or open-enrollment to the high schools? I know Frankfort Independent is a separate school district but didn't know if there was an agreement between the two.

Would no one on staff want the job or looking to clean and restart, again?

So for traveling purposes everyone around them is 2A, Henry is 3A and the Oldhams are 4A,5A, and 6A. The closest district would be Eminence, Frankfort, KCD, Berea or Bracken, Dayton, Bishop Brossart and Ludlow(May be wrong on this one). All of their other sports they compete with surrounding counties. Though rumor of them moving is probably possible but they lose a huge senior class and the roster I think is less than 18 possibly down to 15.

I take the underdog Newport in this contest, WV doesn't look the same as they have in the past. However, you have to believe Coach Barth can get it done as he no stranger to #1 seed prior to the last 3 seasons of going through your district. Should be a good game.

Why not RPI the entire playoff system and do a selection Sunday each week of who you will play. If worried about travel distances, least make some of these matchups interesting. Also add, why not use a neutral site if going from one end of the state to the other? Sure, there are plenty of fields in between lol.

Answers from both would be TBD. North Defense didn't look bad in first half against Central but everything fell apart in 2nd half that game. That team is Jackal and Hyde, you don't know which one is going to show up on Friday

I think Beechwood wins by whatever amount they choose, but Coach Genton needs to be given a lot of props. The man took over the program in week 2 of July and made the playoffs in a 6 man district. 4-6 season is best record since 2014.
