Kyle Pettit has resigned as the head football coach at Pendleton County effective immediately, per @Sam_McClanahan on Twitter. 

Interesting timing for this it probably means something else will be coming out. I however hope their is not.

All rumors and speculation right now...just like any other time a coach resigns mid-season.

 

Pettit was 0-17 in a year and some change. 

Hopefully it’s not over something too serious or bad. I know that these types of things commonly happen when resignations happen with coaches this late. Hopefully Pendleton gets a coach that can help improve things there, which I know is already a challenge due to football and other sports not getting the focus there compared to what other schools get.

Did not coach last week against Erlanger Lloyd.

Time to fire up the coaching change board. Sadly that time of year.

I was told this has been brewing for a bit. No I was told he was not on the sidelines for last week's game.

I'm guessing he just got tired of losing, with no hope in sight.

I was told the same thing.   Parent issues with little support from the school.

Heard the school administration is not supportive of athletics at all.
