There are 5 teams that really stand a good chance at win it all IMO at this time. In no certain order Lincoln, West Jessamine, Pulaski, Danville & DCA. These teams if playing well could beat anyone if the pieces fall correctly. If poor shooting, rebounding or foul trouble hit they could be beat in this region. That is the fun part of playing in the 12th this year. You had better bring your A game every game because everyone is playing to knock you out. Can't wait for District and Regionals.

If someone is employed at a school system outside the families home district can the child still attend and be eligible? This rule still apply for non- resident? Will the new bylaws affect this situation?

Do not know a lot about Jeffersontown but I do know Jaxon Smith is good at controlling the games pace. Kid is strong with the ball and is great vs pressure. If Smith and Alcorn play well which normally opens up shooters then LC will be moving on from the first round. Coach Jackson will not care to hold the ball if he feels like he has to. LC 58 J-town 50.

I think the talent is still there for several kids in the region even thought they don't score 40 a game like Imfeld. Lincoln is a very balanced team this year and the style coach Jackson plays has limited Jaxon Smiths opportunities. I would not count out Smith as a star. Take this kid out of the equation and LC is just not the same team. His abilities are there he just does not have to use them to take 25-30 shots a game.

I think Pulaski is good enough to win region and possible sweet 16 run but I believe Lincoln is the team in the 12th that can pull the upset. If shots are falling outside for the Pats going to be a fun matchup. North is very capable of snapping the streak. If Sheppard gets some help they can pull it off.

80%? Do you watch the football/basketball games? By my count only 4 play football Davis, Horton twins and Lane. That tells me about 19% play football.

I believe LC has the potential to put up points but they played very slow and methodical. Not going to blame everything on coaching staff but after that first quarter they played with different speed and rhythm. Some games you got to turn it up and let those athletes make plays. Just my opinion but that’s why Jackson is coaching and I’m watching ?

Could consolidation be the answer? Franklin Co and FHS pool together and share resources.

I agree with Calico Jack ?. Fundamental X’s & O’s have to be there but a wise fellow told me once it’s more about the Jimmy’s and Joe’s than the X’s & O’s.

If interested Jaggers has football in his blood, experience as head coach and I believe LC would support him. He is also young enough to relate to the kids well and if he gets support from his Dad it’s a winning situation for the Patriots.

Chuck Smith thinking about returning to HS Football?

Starting to heat up that a former coaches son is interested. Exceptional football family that would bring knowledge and Championship experience back to Lincoln.

Even if the call was close may have been only call Lincoln got all tourney. Ashland definitely gets all calls.

Really competitive game. Would love to see Lincoln-Ashland matchup with the Pats at full strength.

Kentucky teams showing up at Marshall Co. Good Lincoln team also beat Cane Ridge held them to just 39 points.
