Ashland defeats Lincoln County 63-54 in the AIT semifinals to set up a championship game against Cincinnati Elder. Elder downed Bowling Green 58-50 in the other semi game for the Purples first loss of the season. 

Really competitive game. Would love to see Lincoln-Ashland matchup with the Pats at full strength.

Villers was out for Ashland.

Atkins, also a starter for Ashland was out as well.

Ashland had two starters out (Cole Villers and Ryan Atkins), their top two rebounders and one of their most consistent scorers and players in Villers. He was named 1st team All State last year. When the Tomcats have all their starters playing they are like a well oiled machine!

Villers is the leading scorer for the Tomcats and Carter (freshman) leads in Rebounds.

Okay ?. 
I was just going by what Colin Porter said in a post game radio interview following the Lincoln County game. He said, “We’ve had our top two rebounders out of the lineup.”

But I can certainly understand Carter being the top rebounder. He has done a great job on the boards all season.
