Danville's Jarius Bryant and Jaylen Dunn played great for the Ads. DCA season comes to an end but they will be a problem the next few years. Beeman for Danville was the unsung hero for Danville. Came in off the bench and played big minutes rebounding and defending the big man for DCA. Boyle County and Danville Wednesday IMO will be a war. The Ads have nothing to lose. BTW, how does Jaylen Dunn at 5'10 get 15 rebounds? That kid plays so hard, sometimes I go to watch Danville just to see him play. Him and Jaekie Tarter will be battling it out Wednesday. 

Besides Imfeld at Boyle, this region doesn’t have a lot of stand alone stars this year. Even Jaxon Smith at Lincoln faded away from that role. Dunn, Hayden and Bryant for Danville all have an argument to be amongst the best players in the region. The Ads have been inconsistent this year and, in reality, the last couple years. But Coach McKinney got the most from them when he needed it.

 

I think this game also shows that top to bottom this district is likely the most competitive in the state.

Dunn is one of the better all around players in the region.  If his jump shot, ever catches up to the rest of his tools watch out!

Big loss in Ontario Hill early in the game. Hopefully he will be able to play on Wednesday. This however, allowed Beeman to come in and shine off the bench. High energy kid that plays very tough and will get in and fight for rebounds and loose balls. Fun fact: This is his first year of organized ball.

The addition of Hannibal also has helped this team tremendously. He brings another mature ball handler that knows the game and can get his teammates in position to be successful. Things seem to be clicking a little bit for the young Ads and could provide their best game against Boyle.

Best game I've personally seen from Bryant who had a career high 24. Shot the ball with confidence, played smart, and was able to be that guy in the middle of the zone. If he can stay hot on Wednesday, it would certainly be helpful!

I think the talent is still there for several kids in the region even thought they don't score 40 a game like Imfeld. Lincoln is a very balanced team this year and the style coach Jackson plays has limited Jaxon Smiths opportunities. I would not count out Smith as a star. Take this kid out of the equation and LC is just not the same team. His abilities are there he just does not have to use them to take 25-30 shots a game.

Jaylen Dunn is my favorite player in the 12th region to watch. I also like watching Jaekie Tarter from Boyle County. Both high energy guys and play hard the whole game.
