Birds take down the Ravens ranked by MaxPreps #29 who feature Alabama recruit Brandon Miller who is the #10 player in the country. The undersized Birds shot well from the outside and did a incredible job on the defense boards tonight. Birds were lead by Zach Barth (the most underrated point guard in the state) and Will Herald. Great bounce back Birds!

I should have brewed some coffee. I watched on my phone this game until beginning of 2nd quarter and fell asleep with the Birds down around 8 or so.

This is a BIG TIME win…. Another side note is that this game didn’t tip off until after 11pm EST!  The Birds players still had a FULL DAY at school and left Ft Thomas and drove the 4 1/2 hours to Marshall County to play this game.  

I agree that Zach Barth is a big time player to watch this season.  He has hit the weight room big time since last season and will be a force all season long.

Can’t wait to see the box score on this one.
