Maybe. LCA had lots of chances to score early in that game. But MC made maybe the best coaching transition in the offseason. Going from what they had to a HOF coach in Mike Holcomb. I would be a bit worried if I were Bryan Station/Oldham in that district.

Madison Central also is playing a new QB that joined the team in week 2 and has taken the starting job it sounds like. They are a little less one dimensional now. I think LCA will handle Pikeville with ease. Pikeville has a stud RB , but just not gonna be able to handle the Eagles run game. Another big game the following week is Pikeville at Madison Central.

Madison Central played LCA close being very one dimensional. I think it was 21-13 or something.

LCA would’ve been in major trouble if Mad. Central had any semblance of an offense. Their defense was much improved and looked like a well coached team. Holcomb was a good hire for them. They just struggle on OL and are young at the skill positions . LCA should roll in 2A until the finals.

Possibly Knox Central playing Madison Central in one of the games.

Pikeville is gonna be tough this year. Great coach! Madison Central will be much improved , coaching change to Mike Holcomb will change that program up.

Madison Central is going to be loaded. They may have another transfer headed that way as well. They could easily be the best perimeter shooting team in the state. The kid from Ashland is top notch.

It sounds like they have a program that kids want to play in.
