The games would undeniably be more entertaining and better off with a shot clock. With that said, still not completely necessary. If you don’t want a team to play stall ball, either don’t let them get a lead or play some aggressive defense.

Correct.

I’m pretty sure they have a full time S&C coach so this shouldn’t be a problem

This is my only worry as a Beechwood alum. If one of these Ohio schools comes calling, is he out? Also, if his brother gets a HC job at the D1 level will he join him?

Between the COVID extra year and the transfer portal, it brutal for high schoolers to get quality looks now.

So did the priest recommend Holy Cross and St. Henry as an option too, or what?

How long will Walker stay? His son his a sophomore, correct? I wonder if this is a son leaves he leaves sort of deal. Also, didn’t Newport have an incident with Holy Cross this year? Sounds like a couple of competitive teams. Love the on court competitiveness and rivalry, but the shenanigans from the fan base and coaches is ridiculous.

Great effort by the Mustangs. I believe if Olivia Lloyd plays this is a much different game. Kramer couldn’t find her rhythm tonight and that was a huge blow. Great effort by Meyers and the seniors today. Meyers is one to keep your eye on the next two years.

I like a GRC Brossart final. Look for GRC to dominate every game in this tournament, but you never know what Coach Brown has up his sleeve.

It’s awfully quiet for the upset of the year just happening.

Any scenario of Hergott leaving for any reason other than his own will is ridiculous. I’d pass on Saban if meant keeping Hergott.

We should direct all 7 on 7 questions to the Highlands folk! 7 on 7 champions of the world last year!

Gotta wonder if there will be a big staff turnover. I worry with an outside hire they don’t keep the tradition that makes that staff great.

I believe he had a nice schedule at Beechwood. Was wondering the same about classes. Also wouldn’t be surprised to see him in an Administration role at some point.

Hergott is most likely a no. Bathiany is very interesting. Feel like Eviston would be a slam dunk easy choice if he’s even interested.

Is he having grandchildren soon? Congrats to him and Julie

Any front runners for this job yet?

Had he resigned I would speculate Rash to Moeller. But since he’s retiring, I think he will be done with football from a head coaching perspective.

How many applicants does this job get?

After recent news in Fort Mitchell, Mayfield has to be the clear cut favorite.

Yes, yes we all love Noel get the pleasantries out of the way. Now the fun/interesting part…who’s next?

Sad to see New Cath is off the schedule. When will we the last time Beechwood and New Cath did not have a scheduled game?

Give me Steve Brown. Has done a great job for the Mustangs in his first season.

But what allows Highlands to have such a good feeder system?

Those Boone County District numbers are atrocious.
