Great effort by the Mustangs. I believe if Olivia Lloyd plays this is a much different game. Kramer couldn’t find her rhythm tonight and that was a huge blow. Great effort by Meyers and the seniors today. Meyers is one to keep your eye on the next two years. 

When you think of 10th Region girls basketball, the two programs at the top are George Rogers Clark and Montgomery County. In 49 seasons, the two have won a combined 27 10th Region Championship. The two from the 40th District have won 15 of the last 18 region titles. GRC is making their 22nd championship appearance while Montgomery County is making their 18th title showing.

The two teams have already met three times this season. GRC has swept the series 69-47, 67-57, and 59-63.

The 10th Region Girls Basketball Championship will take place tomorrow, March 5th, at 3:00pm. The winner goes on the face the 12th Region on Wednesday, March 8th, at 6:00pm in the 2023 Mingua Beef Jerky Girls’ Basketball Sweet 16®.
