  1. Watching a few of there games, all I can say is their team and strengths are evolving. Every player has gotten better and they play their tails off. Kudos to them and the staff. They are entertaining to watch. i give credit to Conner for bottling Meyer up - his coaches will help him continue to get better. Ward was on fire Gibson OWNED the paint on defense. They have seniors that have done every little thing imaginable to GUT 21 wins out.
  2. Conner has a very good team with a great coach. HC came out hot and withstood the Conner run - Dalton Kremer (sp) was on fire. This was an entertaining game to watch. Congrats to Casey. He has coached hit butt off and has not received the recognition he is due. Remember, he did not meet his team until August.
  3. I don't think it was a "guts thing". i just think they were attempting to call them out. For me, i wont opine on that decision but am a little impressed for taking the stand. My stand is to play them 10 times a year - but the teams I like have to.
  4. Runner up? I would hope the other seven teams are not shooting for runner up.
  5. A still photo is kind of unfair. The player pump faked and the player came down hard. Additionally, I do not think the Holy Cross players were mad that they left the starters in. Playing CovCath only makes you better - no matter what the score is.
  6. Congrats to Cov Cath - they are good. HC played hard and had their moments but the free throw difference was too much to overcome. Atmosphere was great, fun to watch.
  7. Agree, you may want to add a couple to CovCath to beat the team that you assemble. No one team in the 9th has what CC has, but to think an all star team from the 9th could not beat them is not giving some really good players credit.
  8. What are similar results in the 9th and 10th Regions?
  9. How many times did he shoot?
  10. Who was the best player for Grant?
  11. Will Lloyd have to beat Dixie to make it to the Region?
  12. Back on topic. How did they beat them? better coaching? better players? better on this day?
  13. HC did not look flat. They played hard and got beat. A big reason for that is their PG was playing at a lot less than 100%. They have a great coaching staff and will bounce back. Move on. Next game.
  14. I don't understand what that has to do with CovCath losing to Male.
  15. Do you know their record last year?
  16. What does balanced scoring from their team look like? Aren't they are 9 and 4 with two close losses.
  17. I thought Herald played a great game. If Highlands is hitting their 3's they are hard to beat.
  18. Too many athletes on that team - I am sure they will get it figured out in time.
  19. Your definition of large? and it was Cumberland.
  20. Haven't seen him play but did see both the other guys play. Ohmer played a big role on a "bigger" school in college.
