Does it seem like there’s been a lot more late openings this year than normal? Ideally, a job would open soon after the season, you could get your new guy in by January/February. Be able to get spring ball in, your systems started with install, and be able to have a head of steam going into year one. Taking a job this late almost feels like year 1 is a wash. You’ve missed spring ball. You have about a month before dead period, then about a month and a half till your first game.

A trinity CAL game won’t ever happen. Trinity wouldn’t play that game. I don’t think Trinity will play anyone under 6A. Boyles reached out for 27/28 with no reply, that’s why I am under that assumption.

What's wild is if Boyle pulls 18 and 19 off.. add in 24.. what a run. A lot of teams would love to have 6 in 9 years, but imagine if they had pulled off 9 in 9 years. Does Chuck leave after 19 if they win it 18 and 19? Stepping down after three straight would be tough.
