  1. 13th Region Off-Season Discussion Hub With the 2023-2024 season over, all the talk will be what happens next? Harlan County went on a special run that led them to the state finals where they just came up short. Will the return of Maddox Huff, Jaycee Carter, Reggie Cottrell, and Brody Napier be enough to help Harlan County repeat? South is likely the preseason favorite only graduating Hunter Bundy. Can Jordan Mabe and Colton Rawlings get South Laurel back over the hump? Bell County had zero seniors, can they push Harlan County for district and be a region dark horse? Corbin graduates energizer bunny Zander Curry, Carter Stewart, and Trey Worley. Can they repeat in the 50th district? Clay County had Harlan County on the ropes. They graduate Elijah Bundy and Hayden Harris, but they bring back Jerrod Roark, Ethan Jackson, and Adon Grubb. Can Coach Jones keep things turned around and continue to build in Manchester? Pineville brings back Moser and Sawyer Thompson, can they knock off Knox Central in the 51st? Knox loses Gavin Chadwell, but brings back everyone else. Can Coach Madden build off of the momentum of making it to the region semi's? Can North build back with the trio of Jordon Rawlings, Reece Davidson, and Kole Jervis? Will any players or coaches change squads in the offseason? The 13th region offseason shuffle can get interesting at times. Notable Graduates 🎓 Trent Noah (Harlan County/Region POY) | Caleb Johnson (Harlan County) | Zander Curry, Carter Stewart, Trey Worley (Corbin) | Elijah Bundy, Hayden Harris (Clay County) | Bryce Anderson, Danny Ellis, Lucas Queener (Whitley County) | Brody Brock, Cole Messer, Krish Patel (North Laurel) | Gavin Chadwell (Knox Central) Feel free to discuss all things 13th region related.
  2. There wasn't. They paid the money to buy out of the contract.
  3. Yes. Don't schedule and agree to contracts that you don't plan on fulfilling.
  4. Appears from the schedule Lincoln is now playing Danville in that week 3 game. Which must mean Lincoln bought out of their Scott County game.
  5. Look what happened to Danville football when they did something similar to a high quality head coach.. this could hurt for years to come.
  6. Yes. But when there's a play clock that is visible for everyone you can say hey, this isn't starting on time or it's not running. As opposed to an official keeping time on their wrist.
  7. Nothing worse than playing a team without one when it's a lesser talented team. They'll run a play a minute.
  8. Trent Noah is him! Glad the whole state is getting to see him on the big stage. Not phased at all by the lights.
  9. Was awesome to see them knock off a 4th region champ. Going to have to have another big game from Trent, along with Huff and Cottrell to keep it rolling.
  10. School systems, boosters, and parents can't get done whatever they want to get done in the grand scheme of things.
  11. I give Foley to Russell a negative 23% chance.
  12. Congrats to Brady Atwell for committing to WKU for baseball! https://x.com/BradyAtwell5/status/1769534519084753199?s=20
  13. Spencer comes in on a 7 game win streak having won 18 of their last 19 with the lone loss to North Hardin on February 19th. They won the 30th district and the 8th region championship by knocking off South Oldham, Walton-Verona, and Simon Kenton. Great Crossing comes in with one loss on the season and undefeated against in state teams. They won a thrilling 11th region championship on a last second buzzer beater by Vince Dawson over Lexington Catholic. These two teams haven’t played since 2022 where Great Crossing won by 11. Spencer has their work cut out for them. Can they pull off the upset bid?
  14. Did a super regional. You can see how it unfolded if you look at KHSAA scoreboard and click the tournament.
  15. Clark is doing DB’s at Bowling Green.
  16. Heard they tried to throw the house at Foley to leave Southwestern but that's not happening.
  17. Miss the days of Jackson Arnett leading the Monroe fighting Falcons.
  18. Top: Magoffin, Great Crossing, Lyon, Adair. Great Crossing Lyon. Great Crossing Bottom: Harlan County, Newport, Trinity, Evangel Christian. Harlan County (if Kinney is out an extended period of time), Trinity. Trinity Great Crossing over Trinity in the finals.
  19. Madison Southern's best player, Ethan Moore, has enrolled at Douglass.
  20. Turned it off when DCA was up 9 with less than a minute left then saw the updates on here it was in OT. What a melt down.
