Hazard has opened up the Jordan Amis Era 2-0 on the season. They will be looking to make it 3-0 this week as the Prestonsburg Blackcats come to town. They sit at 1-1 on the season. They beat county foe Betsy Layne in week one, and lost last week to Pikeville in the Pikeville County Bowl. Hazard will be looking to avenge last years loss to the Blackcats. 

Who wins this 1A vs 2A matchup? Does Hazard move the Jordan Amis Era to 3-0? Does Prestonsburg take last weeks frustration out on the Bulldogs?

For Hazard to win this game they need to continue what they've been doing and that's not turn the ball over. Through 2 games the dawgs haven't turn the ball over none (except turnover on downs). Ball Efficiency has been good for the dogs early this season. They are averaging close to 37 points per game. Now I don't expect them to get to that in this game. I'm looking at the 17-24 range at the most. Defense needs to be better in the passing game as Whitley County could have had some passing yards in the game if the kids make the catches. Those catches were mostly wide open as a defender was at least 3-7 yards off the play. I need to see those DBs stick with there assignments
