In its third year, it looks like the Paul Laurence Dunbar head coach Wes Johnson's CKY Freshmore League has lost Western Hills, Shelby County and Henry Clay as league members. Shelby County's football program is currently struggling to stay afloat (as is most of the athletic department at Shelby County, for that matter), and Western Hills is also struggling through its own re-build after turning over head varsity coach for the 3rd time in 4 years. Both programs appear to be working on scheduling their own froshmore JV seasons in order to choose specific teams that they will be more competitive with rather than opting for CKY competition. And under head coach Phillip Hawkins, it appears that the Henry Clay football program has reintroduced an all-freshman team that will be competing in the Bluegrass Freshman Conference this season.

I haven't seen a confirmed freshman, JV, or froshmore schedule come out yet from Franklin County, but I'm operating under the assumption that they're still in the CKY Freshmore League, seeing as their yet-to-be-completed schedule on Arbiter only shows games against CKY opponents thus far.

Did not realize they had lost Franklin County in the 10/19/26 slot.  Hopefully they're able to pick up another game.  But I'm curious why Franklin County game is dropped, they now have 6 open spots for games on their schedule.

It may not be dropped. I was just going from what was posted to their Arbiter page, so that could have accidentally been omitted or they may need someone to do something on the Franklin County end of things for the game to show up there - I'm not familiar enough with how things work on Arbiter to be able to say, for sure.

Last night Woodford's JV won at Corbin, 36 -12. Any other scores from this league?

Any chance anyone looking for an away Froshmore game Thursday?
