Hate that for Barnes he is a player. Lincoln is favorite with Pulaski and Boyle as close second. I keep waiting for McCreary Central to make the turn but it may be Rockcastle this year with that senior group that may make a run. Basketball season is here!

I just don't see Garrard just running through the district with Hall of Fame Coach Dudley Hilton at Bell Co and with an improving Estill County team that beat Garrard this season. Not to mention Rockcastle team that will improve also with Larkey. Quisenberry cant do it by himself or they would have won out this year. He is really impressive but they have to have some more pieces to finish the puzzle and make a run.

Jaggers would be very similar to Perry as in run…run…and run the ball some more. Clevenger will open it up more as well as Scenters and Crutchfield likes to run the ball out of the pro style offense. Hmmm this could be fun to watch.

Clevenger may not be interested but he actually would be a good fit for the program. Garrard needs some discipline and stability to back it up. Clevenger would fit that role nicely.

Will Quisenberry apply? I know he coaches several sports at Garrard at different levels.

This is very similar to the situation Clevenger faced a couple years ago. A seasoned coach will think twice about stepping into this whirlwind.

LCA is on another level this year. Hate to say Ads just don't have the horses to match up pound for pound. Looking forward to see how Peach and his staff have the Ads prepared for this monumental task.

Hayden will really help with his experience along with Dunn. I think Journey White could have a big year along with Bryant. Those guys will have to provide some scoring.

I’m curious to see what Coach McKinney can do with Ads this year. They are young but have some athletes. Ed always finds a way to compete in a very loaded District.

Quisenberry proving he is an issue for anyone. If Lions can get some consistency defensively they have a shot to win the district. Having Coach Perry back really helps the pride.

Would love to see the Ads compete but just not there yet. They have overachieved this year with all the preseason issues. Athletes keep Ads in games. Got to get some numbers.

Don’t know who the kids are but one kid was close to 7 feet. That’s a big rim protector. Districts should be very competitive

12th Region has some talent for sure. Early season predictions for the districts 45 1 Lincoln 2 Boyle 3 Danville 4 DCA 5 Garrard 6 KSD Lincoln and DCA have transfers that will make impacts 46 1 W Jessamine 2 E Jessamine 3 Mercer 4 Burgin West with slight nod over East 47 1 Pulaski 2 Rockcastle 3 Somerset 4 Casey Somerset and Casey have new Coaches. Be interesting to see how they progress. 48 1 McCreary 2 Southwestern 3 Wayne McCreary gets nod over SW without Smith. Rodney Woods team always dangerous come district and region time.

This year should be interesting in the 12th with the repeating seniors and transfers for some teams. The coaching in this Region is top notch. These teams always seem to give some surprises come tourney time.

Took trip to Lancaster tonight. GC headed in the right direction. Quisenberry looked like Wandale Robinson for the cats. Kid is all heart. Sealed the win with big int on Tigers last drive. GC wins 22-14

Honestly the Ads have been a pleasant surprise so far. They do not have a consistent offensive plan but they keep making plays. The Administration is a mess, as far as Peach and the team I think they don't mind to mix it up with anyone. They really played some stingy defense on a pretty good athlete (Clayton Davis) and were bringing some aggressive tackling. Speed is always a good weapon and they have several players capable of taking it to the house. Lets hope COVID takes a hike and all teams get back to normal.

I agree with BEChargers. Garrard defense alignment was all over the place. Of course those big running backs for Casey may have been the reason.

Boyle will be fine. They lost a ton of talent last couple years and is a work in progress. Haddix is a coach and they will be there at playoff time. That said it seems Ads is better than most think. Athletes are there but they have to get consistent and improve every week to compete for their district. Once they can sync offensively they may be a threat. I say Boyle 28 Danville 20.
