Funny how many would just pick a team to win without any constructive detail. I understand you are and always love seeing Lex Catholic loose but please explain. Anyways here's what I got, Lex Cath still have their primary weapons ( Jones, Ogbugu, Morris, Thompson, 3 returning OLine )and yes they lost stud QB, but I think they will be just fine. 2 seasons ago, they started 2-2, last season 1-3 and both year, they went to state semi vs. FT Highlands. In fact they have been to the state finals 4 straight season. Don't ride them off just yet @Jack

You hit it on the head. Lafayette lives off their talent, which they have. Great athletes, D1 linemen. Need to coach them up.

With him making a statement about T doesn't know the meaning of poor, I just want him to answer us about the new 3 uniforms that they purchased and a brand new weight room with new equipment. Predicting the score or who wins, is mildly interesting to me.... But we all know who will win though.

I don't think a player is considered down as long as a knee or a elbow hits the ground, which in this case it didn't. Now that's the rule in college and NFL and I will assume the same for HS.

^^ But he wasn't down though. He's knees and elbows NEVER touch the ground. He balanced himself by using the ball and his other hand to pop himself up.

I don't about PRETTY EASY win, perhaps vs. your Ashland JC wins out easy every year. JC might just win vs Lex Cath but easy won't be. What if JC falls behind in the scoreboard? Will they still grind it out, wear the defense down? Lets put that in perspective.

I think Station bounces back this weekend. Saw Cooper on tape and I believe that Station can exploit them with their speed.

You still haven't mentioned how Lafayette has had 3 different pair of brand new uniform in the last 3 season, went from 3 different color helmets and a brand new weight room w/ brand new equipment. Lafayette has got it great, must have an awesome candy and pie fund raising

And what could the punishment be? it's not like college where you loose certain scholarship or banned from bowl games. What kind of sanction can be placed on a high schools who violates such rule?

I am trying to catch what your saying, but I'm not understanding it. Belfry is not a good 3A team?, JC is a superior team cause they beat 3A Belfry 7-8 meetings? Boyle Co and Lex Cath has no business playing or being in 3A with Belfry? Please explain to us.

I am not comparing Henry Clay to BG, but I will go ahead say that the speed of both teams are similar. Saint X corralled the speedy and more athletic Henry Clay. Not saying will X will beat BG, but there might be that slight chance though.

Fair enough, but from my aspect. A team that supposed to have Olympic type speed, SK sure bottle them up.

I have seen SK play 3 times now from last season to this, Folks they are legit 6A contenders. In all facet of the game. Passing, running, receiving and the defense is stout. They owned Station last weekend.

Uniforms are not cheap, so what kind of fund raising are they doing to be able to afford those. Oh not to mentioned according to their players tweet's, a brand new weight room??? Now with that said, Lex Cath has to make JC play from behind. JC will milk that clock till it's cream with their time of possession. And if JC is playing from behind, I don't see them having a lot of success in passing the ball. Lex Cath needs to stick with their short/ medium passes and go quick at top to Ogbugo, Morris or the Thompson twins.

We all know that Lex Catholic has a weaker than normal defense, we get that. But for the people that do follow Knights football all know that they have NEVER had a great defense. It has always been a " BEND BUT DON"T BREAK " defense. Great example was this last weekend, though they lost, they stop Ryle several times going on 4th down.
