  1. Saint X Trinity FT Highlands Boyle Co Mayfield No particualar order
  2. Indiana State had a satellite camp just over the river last weekend. Small turnout, but there were some good looking athletes. Couple from Male HS receivers did great. Fast and athletic. Bourbon Co. QB threw very well and a Lexington Catholic kid caught the eyes of the coaches/ defensive coordinator and were very interested in him. Good luck to their future.
  3. Its better to miss June workouts to attend camps. June workouts are primarily lifting, conditioning and often times just throwing the ball around and not to mention some programs only requires 3 day week. July on the other hand is a killer month. Mon- Fri ( Hell Week ) That's when you put together all your packages, groups and in pads etc. July is something a player can't miss.
  4. Kinda of a homer for the Fayette County public and private schools, so I'm going to say LCA with an iconic " Cross " on the helmet decal. Lex Catholic with their blue, trimmed with black and going back to original helmet color/ blue. And how about Lafayette? With the all white pants, jersey, helmets with white face mask. it just looks clean and sharp.
  5. Thanks Coach J for the info. I was with my nephew at WKU and UC last weekend and they did not carry cards or given their times. So I was just wondering if all camps were ran the same way.
  6. You think programs are going to chance on cheating? All it takes is for a player to get ill from being in full pads and that parent will notify someone. To answer your question, probably no one, but who's going to chance that? I know that you can have on helmets and if it get too warm, helmets will come off.
  7. How is everyone obtaining these 40 and shuttles times the day of camp? Coaches that conducted these test were not giving out results to ANY players on the field. For a player to find out, they must contact the recruiter via email for their area and he then can give a player his result.
  8. They can conduct strength, conditioning and agility drills and YES teams can have their helmets on... Just no shoulder pads ( top heavy ) or full pads.
  9. You have a point there and I would agree StudRB. If PLD and Lafayette do switch district, LHS would have a tough time with Scott Co, Clay, and Station. PLD would have it easy in district 8 with Creek, GRC and Madison Central.... I was just merely ranking the 5 Fayette public system.
  10. Is this an invite only camp? Reason I ask cause there should have been more names that I did not see attend this camp and vise versa.
  11. Lexington Public ranking in my opinion only 1a. Lafayette, gosh with all of their D1 commits/ offers one would think they would be state champ, but first things first. Win district and advance deeper than 1st round. 1b. Henry Clay ( can be flip flop with Lafayette ) track and field team on the football field. 3. PLD, returners, returners and more returning players 4. Station, lost tons of talent, but still have enough athletes/ speed on the field 5. TC, this program has hit rock bottom lately. Not sure why but has not been competitive for years.
  12. It will be tough to win state. With the addition of powerhouse FT Highlands and Cov Catholic, not to mention Southwestern and the champs ( Pulaski Co ). Now I must say your west side is light compares to the east side of the state, so BG might be playing in the championship game vs. the teams I mention.
  13. Attend smaller camps ie. Bowling Green State, Ohio U. Miami of Ohio, Marshall etc. A player will just be a number when attending big school camps. Unless your invited. Sure it would be fun to walk out of the training facility or stadium, but with all the numbers of kids, there will be not enough coaches.
  14. And why is everyone talking about it then? Trying to figure out if Chris is the one or not??? 7 pages of thread of figuring out who the OC? I cracked a joke man and no he/ they whomever does not have to announce it ok.
  15. What's the big secret and why is it taking so long to announce an OC? Boyle Co going to call a press conference/ WKYT to announce the new OC? ( Kinda like LeBron James announcing that he will take his talent to south beach, Miami? ) LOL
  16. ^^^^^ And that is why I placed FT Highlands first, then Cov Catholic
  17. I would AGREE that Robbins is by far the best " athlete " in the state, but just not the best QB. The kid can play any position from QB, WR, RB and DB. One of the better athlete I have seen in a while. Definitely my front runner at KY Mr. Football.
  18. 1A Beechwood 2A CAL, DeSales, Mayfield 3A Lex Catholic, Boyle, Lou Central 4A Warren Central 5A FT Highlands, Cov Catholic 6A Trinity... Long shot Simon Kenton
  19. With all these attention from actual POWER football schools, It would not surprise me that this kid will stay home and play for a basketball school ( UK ). It's just my opinion, hope he does explore and play somewhere and get a change to win a conference or better yet a national championship.
  20. Parks from Station is going into his 3rd season. Prior to that 5 coaches in 5-7 years.
  21. I can't speak for other counties or programs, but it seems like in Fayette County public schools. They have had numerous a turnover in the head coaching job. The longest tenure is Henry Clay's coach, Station has had 5 coaches in 7 years, Dunbar at least 6 in 8 years, Lafayette 4 in 8 years and Creek 4 in 6-7 years. Not sure why.
  22. Boyle County and Lex Catholic will compete for the district crown for the next 4 seasons. Nuff said
  23. Excellent athlete. Good luck to him on his college choice.
