Well from the sound of this post...Your a HOMER to Lafayette. As far as being eager to find out how height would effect any team, well with the exception of Trinity, what team has LHS beat last season that were not vertically challenge? And Bryan Station did not have a tall team Sir. They had a #5 position that was in and out of the team due to academics.

Perhaps if AC would have taken care of business in their district, they could have been hosting this game.... but apparently not. No worries though for all the complainers, looks like they will be playing Friday night after all.

Perhaps the middle coaching staff that they have or the D1 trenchers are overrated. Can really gauge on it myself.

Just the mere fact that they have been rolling for the past 4 games and for their sake, will continue on to get their mindset right for the upcoming grueling 3A playoff run.

With the exception of the Ross kid, Lafayette does return good players, but all those players you mentioned, they lack height. Players you mentioned are all 5'9- 5'10 at most. And yes I saw majority of their games from last season.

Man Tates Creek had a chance on beating a top 10 6A club Lafayette. I think IMO, Creek might have exhausted all their energy in that game and will not have enough to beat Ashland.

If Belfry can stop JC's running attack and happens to make it to the championship game vs. Central, who is a run heavy club.. then I will say Belfry vs. JC has some significant.

The way Boyle Co. execute their offense, they will be tough to beat.

I have seen and heard on this forum calling them SOFT, can't stop the run, one dimensional, run it the gut in their soft defense and so on and so on. So stop on that soap opera. Save him for the spring football and fall season.... Unless they put him in a mop up job during the playoffs. No need to further aggravate the injury, he's got a bright future.

In this late stage of the season, I really doubt that, just because teams will be saving up players for the playoffs. Teams around have clinched district title and a non district game especially the last game of the season is somewhat meaningless. IMO only of course.

Oh stop it, LexCath came out swinging and gave GC a standing 8 count 21-0 in the 1st. GC did not score till mid 2qrt and late in the 4th. Just because you run the ball 99.9% of the time, have tattoos at 16-17 does make you a tough ball club. Tough is when a running team RAMS it up the defense and the defense breaks but don't bends and denies a team from scoring, that's a tough team. Just ask #10 when he was about to score inside the 5 yard and got POP by LC #10 making him cough up the ball.

Funny you brought that up. I was not on this forum at that time but from what I read Lex Cath were to busy prepping for Russell County who is suppose to be tough that season and couldn't care less what BC was doing. I did not read any post that would point out or chose Mercer to upset BC. LC fan just assumed that BC will just handle their business. I know it's a few season ago @Hatz but if you can recall any fans that was rooting for Mercer that weekend, please advised us all.
