Anderson County (5-5) plays at Covington Catholic (3-7) in the first round of the Class 5A Russell Athletic / KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl.

Game to be played at Dixie Heights on Friday at 7:30pm due to scheduling issues with Cov Cath's soccer team and lack of lights at Wooten Stadium.

Clarifying Gametime & Location

CovCath will win rather easily.

I like Catholic 35-7.

What does Anderson do well?

COLONELS big

I hope the Colonels are emotionally charged for this one. Last home game at CCH!

Any change in the game time due to a potential state run for the Cov Cath soccer team?

Possibly, the decision will be made Monday morning.

CCH should have to play every game on the road until they get lights. High school football is a Friday night event. Period. Another point that the KHSAA is one of the worst organizations in the US.

:lol2: :lol2:

Last Saturday football game for CovCath?!?! Maybe get those lights and be friday night games next season.

If Cov Catholic doesn't have the facilities to host the game Friday night, we would love to welcome them to come on down to Lawrenceburg.

Lights next year. It's a done deal

Then by all means, cut a check and pitch in.

Not if they win the region. They would host the semi-state.
