  1. Who said LexCath doesn't have a running game right? 1,600 17 TD sounds legit to me. I know folks that was last season and this season's numbers are not nearly as close as last, but you all have to take in account that Jones had a broken hand and was playing with a cast from week 0-6. In fact this season, they have more as a, team rushing yrs and TD than last.
  2. Time to schedule a tougher games. Even if its a lost, need to schedule upper tier teams. Also team like E-Town should stop playing players both ways. I was obvious that the Panthers were gassed towards the end. Too much speed, no huddle or hurry up offense did them in.
  3. I beg to differ, but sure you are entitle to your opinion on this thread... But to say run into a wall to simulate Belfry's toughness is kinda lame Sir. Should I come on here and say Belfry should practice with horses or cheetahs on their scout team to simulate LexCath's speed? NO cause that is degrading the players. Lets stay with the facts, Belfry is a beast, Belfry is big, Belfry has a winning tradition, LexCath has a winning tradition, LexCath is fast and LexCath has gone through a gauntlet of a schedule to get where they are this season and season of past.
  4. And with all do respect to you Sir and the team you follow/ homer to.. Are you not one of the ones that has been critical against Lex Cath all season? Every game, you always pick them to loose, get beat down or even placed a running clock on them? How is that going for you and your homer team?
  5. Not sure about a running clock now. Lafayette does have athletes and fire power to score from running to passing, but Lafayette will fall short and I am sure by most of us here..... Lafayette still lacks defense, meaning they give up too many points.
  6. Man you beat me to the punch. That's exactly what I was going to say. You're on point with hat post.
  7. I suppose to what type of offense a program runs, right? Johnson Central, Scott County, Belfry type of offense one would think big, bruising, road grater type linemen. Spread, read option offense, one would think smaller, quicker linemen that can get out on screens faster, reach block etc.
  8. ACL is no joke. So the question is should he shut it down and get ready/ rehab the knee so he can be ready for UK? Or assuming he is not 100% and play this Friday night and chance on furthering injuring it?
  9. Not sure about total, but Lexington Catholic has won their 5th straight regional the other night.
  10. Highlands just because they have been there before, in fact been there lots of times.
  11. Quick question for both side. Who has the advantage or disadvantage Friday night, specially the weather is calling for rain?
  12. I was NEVER shocked. I knew all along what LexCath had coming back in to the season. Of course with the exception of Legend. Just didn't know him coming in to the program. And with all the talk about weak, soft defense. I for one did not believe that from the get go. Oh and for another user making a statement about " Coach Perry's 2nd season and LexCath are even softer than ever before ". And believe user guy, that did not sit well with the coaching staff and the student/ athletes.
  13. Don't sing it, bring it. Give us your insight, what makes you think or why they are picking against your Panthers?
  14. Figures we hear from you hahaha. That would be a negative Sir. 4 turnovers were self implicated mistake. Watch the film and you'll find out. I ended going to the game and saw it live.
  15. Nope! I for one never thought that. Highlands is and always will be a traditional power.
  16. That explosive offense of LexCath didn't quit showed up last night, but that will not happen 2 games in a row. And to add that so called SOFT defense that everyone is calling ( hahaha ) LexCath is playing well after a 2-2 start. Sorry folks that defense is not soft. JC took it to them, but after that game they have been playing lights out D. With that said, I am a homer to Lexington schools and will pick LexCath.
  17. The Men you speak of earlier, they showed up in royal, blue and black. Go Knights!
  18. I have seen JC and they are a hard nose club. I am not sure about Scott, but if they can stop the run heavy JC, sure they beat them... But Scott better jump on them fast cause if they fall behind, JC will milk that clock till its creamed. LOL
  19. Those "Me" in West Chestnut as in the players, parents or the surroundings? Cause I can assure you, if your talking about the men as in parents or the surroundings of the campus, LexCath parents and players will be in good standards... But if you mean MEN as in players, well time will tell right? LOL Liquor City Stadium, like no other high school stadium have parents drink or tailgate before the game? C'mon dude.
  20. I agree, though I had picked Robbins to win Mr. Football early in the season, but definitely tailed off towards the end. JJ was consistent from start to finish. JJ will definitely be in the ALL STATE team. Congrats to Coach Perry.
  21. Toyota Stadium, watching Scott Co run wild on Lafayette defense.
  22. Sounds like from my Knights of Columbus bro, Lex Cath will have 2 maybe 3 charter bus for parents and the usual 2 for the team and a little bus LC for the cheer.
