Lexington Catholic goes to Madison Central for a big matchup this weekend. The Knights have struggled some early but are still among the best in 3A. Madison Central got off to a great start before coming back to earth against Bryan Station. Who wins?

Funny how many would just pick a team to win without any constructive detail. I understand you are and always love seeing Lex Catholic loose but please explain. Anyways here's what I got, Lex Cath still have their primary weapons ( Jones, Ogbugu, Morris, Thompson, 3 returning OLine )and yes they lost stud QB, but I think they will be just fine. 2 seasons ago, they started 2-2, last season 1-3 and both year, they went to state semi vs. FT Highlands. In fact they have been to the state finals 4 straight season. Don't ride them off just yet @Jack

You know what they say about opinions.

:lol2:

LexCath should have enough juice on Offense even with the backup QB to pull this one out, especially if the defense can have another good performance to match last weeks.

^^ I think they will be just fine throughout the season. ^^ They just need to be more consistent on that offensive play calling. Their defense have save NUMEROUS times, either be a 4th and goal or 4th and short. Defense has stepped up and done well.

What is the extent of the Brumbaugh injury? All season or just a few games?

Think you mean Semi's 4 straight. And I agree with Rebel. Gotta beat Catholic in my mind to become favorite.

2nd hand information but I have heard he could be back before the playoffs.

Madison Central wins a close one. Lexington Catholic lacks the killer instinct this year. Pulling for Lexington Catholic though.

Gotcha! My error, 4 straight semi's.

Without Brumbaugh, the defense and special teams are really going to have to step up for the Knights to have a chance. I think the Indians have too much on offense for the Knights this week. Madison Central by 14+.

I'm gonna go with Catholic on this one.

I picked Central in a close one...mainly because of the QB situation for LexCath but I wouldn't be surprised if the Knights won.
