So true... I was getting ready to say the same thing. I think at times on here people get caught up to much in the D1/D2/D3 levels. It all comes down to what the kid's goals are and what he feels comfortable with. If he is wanting to stay home and NKU has offered him that would be a great fit. If he choose to go away I think after this season he will have plenty of interest that he will have the opportunity to go about anywhere (geographically) he wants. Always been a fan of this kid.

Agree, all coaches have done or said things they wish they haven't including the one being mentioned here. Sad.

Being my team was out a long while ago, I'm a Weyer fan now!!! Go NCC and bring it home to the 9th.

Let's do two things here. One realize the kid is playing for the stare tournament and two realize like all kids, he will be reading this. Ben has proven over and over the he is the real deal. Q and Ben are two different types of players and control the game in much different ways. They have proven they both can control the game regardless of who they are playing and at what level. Let the kid play in the biggest tournament of his current life without people putting meaningless thoughts in his head. This thread will bring to many people giving their biased opinion which will only try to mess with his head. Good luck NCC, bring it home to the 9th.

I Am so glad I made the trip down there today. NCC is legit. Weyer continues to not disappoint, Hall has become the 2nd biggest threat on this team. When you follow it up with a dangerous 3pt shooter like Moeves and the defense of the Anderson twins. They are playing hot right now. Dunbar can't think it will be anything less than a fight tomorrow. Fingers crossed I came make it down tomorrow night again.

Looking forward to rooting the 9th Region on today. Will be my fiat state tournament.

I thought NewCath was 1A school? How many students do they have?

You know that stats are kept by the coaches. Why not make them available on the KHSAA site?

Not having a bred in this fight I have to say its awesome to see someone try and put a wedge between team member right after winning the Region. From outside in, NCC has a great group of kids and they were extremely fun to watch last night. Hall played a great game, but remember without Weyer you lose by 17. Good luck at Rupp next week!!

This kid played an unbelievable second half. Without him I don't feel that NCC could have stayed in it offensively without him controlling the ball. Hats have to go off to CCH players and coaches. For being outmatched in size they gave everything they had to the very end. Awesome game last night!!

Didn't someone mention in another thread that NCC has another 6'6 on the bench? You would think tonight would be the night to play him. Tough to keep track of Weyer when you have another big under the basket.

Based on last game that is a given. Their won't be any hand shakes or picking up of the other team's players off the ground. If NCC plays this correct, they turn the CCH floor talk from last game into motivation and baskets this game.

I'll go out on a limb and say Weyer will be ready for tonight. The last match up I heard he was really tight last game which kind of showed based on how little he scored. I've been lucky to be at the whole tournament this year and going by what I thought would happen, NCC has done a very nice job shooting. Also without the late hand check foul calls against Conner yesterday I don't believe that game ends that way. We could have seen a NCC vs Conner finals. One thing NCC should have learned last night is that you DON'T put CCH on the foul line, they just don't miss. I really think CCH needs to watch out for Hall tonight. He has the capabilities to put up 20+ points without anyone really noticing him. Add another 15-18 points for Moeves and that brings me to my final. NCC 68 CCH 59

I think two polls would be fitting for this. 1: Who will win and by how much 2: Who do you not want to win.. I've heard more people say I don't want this team to win or that team. Based on history I think more people are hoping for an NCC win to knock off CCH nice little run.

I think it comes down to NCC being hot at the 3 point line and Weyer being hot inside. We saw against CCH they neither happened and they lost by a nice margin. If Weyer can come out and play like the best player in the 9th we should see them playing CCH again in the finals. Lot of weight on that kid's shoulders but its definitively doable. Breds by double digits in this one with 8-10 of those final points coming from foul shots on fouls by Cooper.

Having him at full strength makes this a real matchup. The real question will be, if so then I would agree with you.
